jessicafischerqueen: Your over there regimen sounds salubrious! Interestingly, in Canada we save time by spelling "music and poker" as "moker." Initially we spelled it "poomus" but that sounded a little too declasse, even for us...

Mar-14-12  brankat: <SwitchingQuylthulg> Although the Probation expired a week ago, <Jess> must still be nourishing the fruits of her labour :-)
Mar-14-12  cormier: she's working ... usual obligations .... we all know how she love's chess videos ..... tks G
Mar-14-12  brankat: A veritable work-o-holic. Just like Bobby used to be :-)
Mar-14-12  waustad: Let us hope that the copywrite folks aren't giving her grief. I always worry about youtube and the like. Is that why she's been asking for original stuff? A 60+ singer who doesn't do original isn't likely to be much help. Then again, almost everything I do is in public domain. Sadly I'm not very good. Im a classic case of dilitante, sort of good at lots of things but great at none.
Mar-15-12  playground player: JFQ didn't get where she is today by not working.

Penguincw: Hi <jess>. As you may have noticed, recently, I haven't been working on my game collections. However, now I have a format that will make making collections easier, hopefully. It works like this.

Day 1: Get games.
Day 2: Finish description except background.
Day 3: Finish background.
Day 4: "Release" and take a break.

Repeat. So I should get about 12 done till May. In May, I will take a break to work on WCC 2012. :)

Mar-15-12  Nemesistic: <JFK> Where are you, i didn't reply to your last flightless bird because you'd already solved your riddle, so not ignoring you love..

Anyway, have LBJ and LHO shot you again looooool (elongated lol deserved?).. I'll be joining Hazza at "Lolers anonymous" soon, im even annoying me too now

Penguincw: < i didn't reply to your last flightless bird >

Who are the others?

Mar-15-12  Nemesistic: Well the clues in your username (Penguins *are* birds, right??), but the rest of these seemingly useless creatures...forget it. lol

Seriously, you never hear of "flightless airplanes", so i dont see the use of birds that cant fly! Thats what birds are supposed to do lol

Unless your asking who my other girlfriends are, in which case i only have the one :)

Penguincw: Hopefully this doesn't get *too* off-topic, but penguins can't fly, because their bones in their arm are similar to other birds' bones, and humans'.
Mar-15-12  Travis Bickle: Penguins can't fly because they're lazy! ; P
Mar-16-12  Alien Math: Chess Explorations (80)

By Edward Winter

Pages 180-181 of Bobby Fischer Uncensored by David DeLucia (Darien, 2009) gave three training games played by Fischer and Gligorić, and page 332 of volume two of Mr DeLucia’s new work In Memoriam has another game-score, with the caption ‘Unrecorded training game, Fischer-Gligoric 1992, written in Fischer’s hand’. With the author’s permission C.N. 7542 reproduced the score-sheet: http://www.chessbase.com/newsdetail...

Mar-16-12  Nemesistic: Expect a flightless bird JFK, hope you're well :)

chancho: <Jess> I imagine you in South Korea going a bit bananas with all that paperwork.

Having to prepare your plans for the classes, and of course, the students.

(with the inevitable troublemaker or two that disrupt them.)

I hope all is well.

Mar-16-12  Nemesistic: Hey Chancho... Don't ever try be subliminal, you may just blow your cover lol.. Just kidding mate, i mean you no offence :).

Mar-17-12  JoergWalter: there was a guy who applied for a job in a circus. the director asked him: "What is your particular talent?" "Oh, I can imitate a bird" "Many people can do that", the director replied. "Sorry then", said the guy, climbed on the window and flew away.

harrylime: Jess what do you think of Carlsen ? I'm playing thru his games just now and rate him very highly.

Comparing him with titans of the pre silicon age is almost impossible, but to me anyway he's uber evocative of Smyslov. What do you think ?

Mar-19-12  technical draw: A little joke for you <JFQ>:

Korean english teacher: "Kim (who's in the first row) tell Jan (who's in the back row) to go to you."

Kim: "Come here, Jan."

Teacher: "Very good. Now tell Jan to go back to his seat."

Kim walks to the back row and says: "Come here, Jan!"

Hahahaha!

  jessicafischerqueen: Thanks Focus and Switch!

<Switch> I just read your TOP SECRET MESSAGES on the top secret invisible page today.

I'll reply on that page to answer your enigmatic query.

Mar-20-12  technical draw: Uh, call me Joe naive but I fail to see the significance of 32,768 posts. Do I need some kind of decoder ring?
Mar-20-12  I play the Fred: <TD>, it turns out that <JFQ> has several of her own posts on ignore; the ones she can read make an even 30000.
