  jessicafischerqueen: <Tbone> one of the very best tracks from one of the very best records made by anyone, ever.

I recently watched a documentary on the making of Dark Side of the Moon.

"Us and Them" the last thing the roadie says before the music starts is

"I don't know, I was really drunk at the time..."

  jessicafischerqueen: <Hanh> brilliant- I should have known you already had those and more- it's <Baidu> that I've been using, great engine and it shows all the torrent download results properly, no copyright takedown.

I guess China can afford not to care about Hollywood.

Thanks for those other names, I will also check them out.

Aug-28-12  Travis Bickle: Hey Jess here's a song by Mississippi Travis Ford. lol

Aug-29-12  TheFocus: <jess> Re your post at the Second Chance Saloon:

<jessica> I understand. At the time, I was having major health problems that affected my judgment. I still have some health problems, but I am working through them.

That, and the passing away of my friend Akiva left me in a deep funk. I did not act rationally. At the time, I did not think I would be able to return.

<You could rebuild them yourself, perhaps with new info or games.>

I'm only a few games from completing my first new games collection: Bobby's <My 60 Memorable Games>.

Tomorrow, I am going to start <Fischer vs. the Russians>. After that, I will begin to rebuild my Fischer collections.

There is no need to apologize. Our friendship has not suffered one bit. I still greatly admire your wonderful works, and am looking forward to your next ones.

I will let you know what collections I complete and you can replace the dead links as we go.

Did you notice "The Man in Black" introducing her?

FUN FACT: Johnny Cash got more poontang than Wilt Chamberlain.

I will try and put an embedded annotation link to the Playlist from most of these Nakamura videos to try and raise the profile of this playlist.

Sep-02-12  WBP: Hi, <Jess>, A long lost one looking in. I look in often here (at chessgames.com) but comment very infrequentely--very busy of late (two or three years back!).

I can't tell you how much I love the work you've done on Alehine--perhaps, along with Tal, my favorite player ever! Wonderful work, indeed!

Do you know anything about Domdaniel--I am very concerned.

For what it's worth, Jeff Meldrum (he of Bigfoot fame) asked me to review a book on his new Idaho Stae University site. You can read the review at wwww.isu.rhi.com. Click on book reviews, and mine is "Searching ro Sasquatch: Crackpots, Eggheads, and Cryptozoology." I'd love to hear your reaction! It's not about Beckett, (or David Foster Wallace, or whomever); but...

Alekhine rules!!! (Well, there are others...)

  jessicafischerqueen: My dear <Bill> I hope you're referring to posts I made about Alekhine by copying out information I got from one of around 10,000 chess books I bought this year, and not the "documentary slide show" I put on youtube two years ago. That slide show is a piece of crap. I'm currently trying to make a new documentary on Alekhine. If I ever finish it, I'll burn the old one.

I have not heard from <Dom>, but he's a big boy and I'm sure he is ok. I'm also sure he knows how much we all miss him, this website is like a piece of Melba toast without him. He's the Gorgonzola that might spice up the Melba.

Speaking of which, this site is like a stream of Bat's piss without you around (That was one of Wilde's, so no letters please).

I'm very proud you were asked by Jeff to review the book~! I can't wait to read your review. I hope you make it clear in your review that only lunatics still hold out hope for a real Sasquatch. There's that annoying problem that he doesn't exist. However, that's never stopped us before, so ad astra. I'll never stop looking for him.

  jessicafischerqueen: <Tryfon> everything's shipshape on the Naka playlist, and great coverage of the Chess Olympiad the past few days. Lots of new Aronian games for the "Aronian by Kingscrusher" playlist here:

  jessicafischerqueen: <Sep-03-12 PhilFeeley: <Jessica!> I've been wondering where you've been. Have you looked at any of the Olympiad games yet?>

Hello Phil! Yes, I have been following the Olympiad via <Kingscrusher's> video analyses of <Iwanchouck> and <Lev Ironing, Washing, and other woman's work>:

==================

<Armenia vs Bangladesh - Rd 2 - GM Aronian vs GM Rahman>

<Ironing and Washing> an overwhelming favorite against <Tasty Shrimp Ramen> in this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XMYH...

and here, CLASH OF TITANS, <Choucky> v. <Ironing, Washing...>

<Armenia vs Ukraine - Rd5 - GM Aronian vs GM Ivanchuk>

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1LTT...

<Choucky> on board one for the defending Olympic champions! What will happen...

  jessicafischerqueen: <Aronian's> FIDE rating rather hefty at the moment, over 2800...
Sep-03-12  PhilFeeley: I always found the individual pages and game pages sufficient to keep me busy on this site. I never went to any chess forums. I see one could spend a couple of lifetimes getting through all the material on yours! Great collection.
