Karjakin vs Morozevich, 2012

http://www.chessbase.com/newsdetail...

GM Ramirez at chessbase.com gives White's 53rd move the !!-mark, 53 ♖b6-c6!!.

<52...Rc7+?? A blunder that is refuted beautifully. Moro still could've held the draw with...

52...bxa6 53.bxa6 a7! 54.b5+ h6 55.a5 h4! 56.gxh4 g3 and the draw is obvious. 57.b5 g2 58.a1 h5 59.g1 g7!=

<<<53.Rc6‼ >>>

A bolt from the blue. Of course if Moro has seen his move he would never have played Rc7+. Now it's all over as the rook is quite obviously taboo, but it cannot be left alone either. bxc6>

Dec-06-12  playground player: <Jessicafischerqueen> Every now and then I get an assignment that stimulates my mind and makes me grow. I'm currently reviewing a rather weighty book, <John Locke, Philosopher of American Liberty>, by Mary-Elaine Swanson--and of course it made me remember some pithy selections from Locke that you posted on my forum (or was it an email?) a year or so ago.

This is illuminating stuff! It certainly shows how very far off-course we Americans have permitted our country to drift. I hope it will also show some means by which we can get back on course--given the current state of affairs, a herculean task.

Anyhow, I thought you might be interested in Swanson's book, too.

Dec-06-12  Travis Bickle: Jess thanks for dropping by my Forum today! ; P Here's another song done at The McCartney Gershwin Award Show @ The White House.

  jessicafischerqueen: <Hanh> hmm I'm still convinced it's working better than before. Because of people like you putting in corrections, I bet.
Dec-07-12  Alien Math: Translated text appear more normal in English comments now then before, sometimes still harbor some problems, are more easy to read the translated then when Google Translate first appear,

If find any conflict of translated, http://support.google.com/translate/ has some info how to transmit the correct versions of,

Not know if cost free replace of modem, house peoples not say, appear to work well now, 6 or 7 computers provide stress on modem provider notes

Dec-07-12  SugarDom: Thanks for welcoming me back, Sister.

Of course, my quality of kibitzing is not the same as your level. I mean you being that videographer, biographer, politically correct chess historian, etc., but it did sound that you miss me and my sometimes naughty antics in CG.

Thank you. :)
