Both the Russian and the English book are sourced from the same primary documents that were collected and saved by <Petrovs> family. The English version has advantages too- it includes crosstables of all <Petrovs> events and also all known games he played are published. The Russian version has none of that, it just has the rest of the missing family history, and the vast majority of it is written by his wife. So together the two books combine to make a rich and detailed history of <Vladimirs Petrovs>, the man and the chess master.
