| Apr-16-11 | | achieve: <Jess> It was a mess, in that my argument was to not overhype Fischer's strength because of those two whitewashes (Taiman et Bent) - upon which I referred to the interview that we recently discussed with Mark Taimanov, revealing that Bobby admitted graciously the score would be a more fair reflection of play if it'd been 3.5-2.5 after 6 games. EXCEPT I BASED THE WHOLE ARGUMENT AND ATTRIBUTED THE QUOTE TO <BENT>! Which rendered my argument MUTE, I thought *then*. Probably mistakenly. I zapped in disappointment and disgust, prematurely perhaps, since my argument was potentially valid. But to be even more honest I think I was too pressed for time, or tired, to edit and re-do it all again. In my attempt to correct it I did refer to Bent Fischer, which really did it for me when I read that back later that day. so 1. I should have left the initial post and or corrected it in cheerful good humour 2. It's upto you to determine what happens with the mess I left after that "episode" - hehe - well at least I can laugh back at it now. |
