| Oct-25-13 | | TheFocus: <TheFocus> <I really don't think you should be publicly posting information about <Travis> that you learned in private? I don't see any post by <Travis> himself saying he was put on probation.> Did you miss the part where I said I was on suspension also, because of attacks by <Mark> and <Travis>? <If you ever posted information you got about me in private in a public forum, I'd be pretty angry about it.> Rightly so, but again, they caused the suspension.
<Finally, since it seems an appropriate time- Are you, or are you not, ever going to supply the page numbers for the material you generously donated to the WCC project? This is the fourth and final time I'll ask you this. Despite repeated promises, you have failed to do so. You do understand that your contribution cannot be used without proper documentation? We can't use any of it without page numbers.
If you care about this kind of thing- chess history I mean- I trust you will supply these page numbers? I know what it's like to put off an irksome task, believe me. But we really need your information, and thus we really need those page numbers. Best regards,
Jess>
I believe that you told me that <crawdaddy> had already supplied those dates. That is my impression. So, I thought that you already had them. I don't have my flash drive with me, so if you say you don't have them, then I will provide them for you. It is 3:00 p.m here now. I get off work in 2 hours and will have dinner with friends. You will have the dates as soon as I get home tonight. I reckon you will have them within 8-9 hours. |

<Did you miss the part where I said I was on suspension also, because of attacks by <Mark> and <Travis>?> This is irrelevant with respect to you breaching Travis' privacy. There was no justification for you breaching Travis' privacy unless he had breached yours first. If he had, that would have been a "tit for tat" scenario and fair enough. But that's not what happened, is it? #################
Sorry for the misunderstanding about the page numbers- I believe the misunderstanding is my fault-- I think what actually happened was that <Crawf> found another source with a page number that confirmed information from one of the passages you kindly supplied us. We still need all the page numbers for every single passage you posted. Again, the gift (which is a gift to Cg.com- not to me) is useless without those page numbers. So yes we still need them, and I'd be very grateful if you could supply them. Thanks in advance for that. Best regards,
Jess |

Jinx!
heh
Thanks man, we look forward to getting the rest of the documentation. It really is priceless information. |

| Oct-25-13 | | TheFocus: reprinted from <WCC> Forum. <Karpova: C.N. 4163 is about 1883 match negotiations between Steinitz and Zukertort. Interesting is also C.N. 3750. http://www.chesshistory.com/>
There is a longer article by Steinitz in his column in <Ashore and Afloat>. This column recently became available as a hardbound reprint, which I got from Karel Mokry. I hope that I can finish typing it by Monday. At home I only have my phone to access the Internet and find it quicksand-slow compared to my work computer. Probably because the buttons are too small for my stubby caveman fingers. |

If he had, that would have been a "tit for tat" scenario and fair enough. But that's not what happened, is it?> No, but <Mark> came in first saying that I had caused his suspension by running to the Admins. I didn't go to the Admins. I was put on probation too. And I told him that I had been suspended along with him and <Travis>. I posted with good intentions. If <Travis> came back and attacked me, he might get suspended again. I may not like <Travis>, but he is a popular guy, posts a lot of good music, and there was no need for him to get caught in the fall-out caused by <MarkFinan>. So, actually, it was a friendly gesture on my part. It just looks awkward the way I did it. <Mark> will get himself banned again, but will come back to cause more chaos. The world keeps on spinning. |

Thanks for your further elaboration. I have no problem agreeing to disagree on this issue. As you say, it's not the end of the world. |

| Oct-25-13 | | TheFocus: Smiles, sister!! Your project is awesome. I am glad to contribute whenever I can. |
|
| Oct-26-13 | | MarkFinan: <Did you miss the part where I said I was on suspension also, because of attacks by <Mark> and <Travis>?> You were suspended because you got drunk and took great offence when Trav said he liked my forum title. You neglected to mention that you'd changed the name of your forum title to something about me weeks previously when you started blowing the whistle on mine and Travs posts over at my forum.
You're a hypocrite, a liar, and I'll remind you without breaking the rules. All your posts at mine will remain to remind you of what you are! |

| Oct-26-13 | | TheFocus: <Mark> Go away boy. You're boring. |

| Oct-26-13 | | waustad: The Harp Sisters are amusing. I'm used to seeing a harp in a orchestra (the Gods going to Walhalla in Reingold) or with Harpo Marx involved, but I'd never seen the electric harp before. Is it an electric version Irish harp? Do they do any Guinness commercials? |

I don't know who you are and I don't want to know either, but take your own advice and put me on ignore.. I think you people who hide behind anonymous handles and dare to have opinions need a good slap as it is. |

 | | jessicafischerqueen: Howay <Mark and The Focus> I know you're fighting, but I refuse to stop having good relations with both of you. I can't pick sides, and I won't. That said, who is this "RedMist" fellow?
An examination of his profile:
<My Forum is open to everyone except THEFOCUS and MARKFINAN. This is an idiot free zone.> Well he's violated a posting violation by calling you both idiots. Here is a message for <RedMist>: Hello! I don't really appreciate somebody I don't know coming into my forum and shouting IN CAP LOCKS, and calling my friends idiots. Please don't do that any more.
This place is for me to relax with my friends, so I don't like fighting in here. The <TheFocus> and <Mark> are both mates, so they're both welcome here any time, though I wish they wouldn't fight in here. However, <RedMist> I'd appreciate it if you didn't post in here again. Best regards,
JFQ |
