Sisters thank you. It appears that <Big Crawdaddy> may have solved the "Novocaine" problem over at the Bistro.

Fascinating name though- a world historical name.

<Travis> Hey! Your GHODzilla costume is way better than my WonderBroad costume.

I'd rather wear this as a costume:

<Mr. Feely>!

What a pleasant surprise.

Yes I did indeed watch several live games from <That Sinking Feeling Cup> and the <FIDE- We are Grand Pricks> event in Atchoo! Russia.

I never comment on the live games pages anymore, and I'm not even sure why. Possibly because my current chess strength is so low, and my chess engine is so crappy, that I spend almost all the time working out the logic behind many of the moves- often without success.

When I do that, I hide the "eval screen" so as not to give me the illusion that "I" actually understand a certain move or line.

I was impressed with the results of <Fabio Caruana>. I do think cg.com should update his photo though. He's not a kid any more.

Here's a more recent photo that might be more appropriate for his player page:

<Mr. Feely>

With respect to your understandable fear that <OCF> and <chancho> have lost their minds, there's actually a logical explanation.

It's a game (more of a lifestyle, really) Ohio invented in which you have to write your posts using only existing member names.

If you read their posts carefully, you'll see they all make correct sentences.

There's a secondary game called "Ohio Rules" as well, but I didn't actually understand the actual rules, as it turned out.

No, <chancho> invented it. I agree it's a lifestyle. I'd be embarrassed to tell you how many hours the Ruby Tuesday post took.

<tbovv> Good heavens that is one terrifying mask.

Good choice!

Oct-20-14  Boomie: <Jess Scaring People>

In addition to the indispensable Jack-o-Lantern, may I suggest festively decorating with Chia Zombies. You will scare the bejabers out of the children about and help ease global warming with the CO2 craving Chia.

Incidentally, I recently saw a documentary about how nobody seems to be aware that User: cows are the main cause of greenhouse gas?

It's a serious docowmentary: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt3302820...

Quite excellent in fact.
