She's great eh? She is in Mazzy Star as well as on that solo record.

Here's another top shelf BBC adaptation of an M.R. James story:

Oct-09-15  Alien Math: you find the most fun or great movies if it wasn't playgroundplayer who was finding movies, saw this before everyone woke up, and put it on the mornings listing for views,

i think my most early moment in life was age 4 or 5 and thanh using leafs and water, kept my temperature down, since then everyone would seek her before finding a parent or adult, i think that's the only way we survived was having her near, even the adults would seek out thanh and ask how was today, she kept track of every single one of us somehow,

i can't help it, i have only glowing memories of her standing over me, she kept us going somehow and we tested her medicine on more than a few occasions

Oct-09-15  Alien Math: <Open Defence> you find some amazing music, and i am sorry i could not comment on it earlier since we were watching previous horrors,

thank you, from all who heard it today after you mentioned it and we took the time to find it and listen

Oct-09-15  Boomie: <jessicafischerqueen:

<ChessBookForum> Oh no! Which one of you jackanapeses have picked up the keys?>

Tis the season to put on a costume and scare people.

What are you being for Holloweenie?

During your walkabout, you missed my last missive.

  jessicafischerqueen:

Thanks <Teem> I will reconoyter. For WEINER I will watch horror movies. Do you have a recommendation?

What costume will you be wearing? If I remember correctly you have the password to a number of cg accounts, including the one I'm using to write this message.

Doh what a giveaway

Oct-10-15  Alien Math: i know my note of her being an actual person and mentioning her in any way might not be what she wants, she wished her exit with thefocus to be what people remembered, but allowing others to see just how much she ment for all of us can't be said in just a few words, there were 17 of us and we were always falling out of trees or bruising shins or gathering splinters or catching a fever that would leave us delirous, she wants to be remembered for being this bad mouthed pirate on the roggoff page, but she was there for us when we needed her, and that what we remember, not some page on the chess forums here
Oct-10-15  Alien Math: i think i only ever saw her mad once, really mad, she stopped a man who wanted to carry a kid away, and 41kg or no 41kg she stopped him, the guy had no chance, its a good thing the police arrived, it was the only thing that saved him
Oct-10-15  Boomie: <Alien Math> No need to worry about how we feel about Thanh. When she first came to CG, I noticed her in one of our challenge games. I'm not sure exactly why but I liked her. I nominated her for the Rinus award. Heh. Her helpfulness spilled over into CG and I'm sure that the people who count around here miss her a lot.
Oct-10-15  Boomie: <Jessie Wiener: Do you have a recommendation?> I can't think of anything that you haven't seen. Collecting whorror movies is your speciality. What would you recommend to me? We can watch and munch popcorn together, half a world away.
Oct-10-15  Alien Math: <Boomie> Thanks much, you have no idea how much your words are for us or her,

i wanted the community to see beyond the page, to her values, but i think what she belived in and her values bled over into the actual pages she visited,

Look for him, his words are golden, he is both learned and well read, are her describing <Boomie>

  harrylime: No!

It's THIS game !

Nepo v kam

https://youtu.be/L0wiAzhwUeY

If you don't wanna play thru the game just home in at 11.16 and guess the move ! lol ...

Nepo is actually coming across a bit of a knob even tho I love his style of play ...

"Castle gate" at the World Cup against Naka was just embarrassing!

Sore loser or what ...

Anyway this guy is gonna be big !

Daniil Dubov... you heard it here first ... I think lol

https://youtu.be/GsrJUu0Jc5M

https://youtu.be/BSx1xeokLWI

Been having a look at Chess24... Peter Svidler there is winning me over ! A charming man ! I'm really impressed with him ... he lost to Karjakin in the world cup final .. jeez some blunders there ! But he's really cool ! Here's an example ...

https://youtu.be/7vUN4lCHHZU

It's disarming the way he talks about his play in blitz ... I love it !

Oh and one more thing !

A new Fischer game has been discovered ...

http://www.chess.com/news/long-lost...

just scroll down for that ...

And er ....

Derby County beat Spurs 8 v 2 back in the 70's .. I've looked in vain on YT for it but to no avail ! ... I was there tho ! A little kid tho.. I'm not that old ! lol

I know this is <JFQ>s forum but thanks Mr Math !

I love that move coz I know Nepo is soooo arrogant ... Kamsky's move turned the game on it's head from a totally lost position ..

A bolt of lightening from a serene blue sky as they say ! lol

<Colleagues> I don't allow fighting in here, so I just deleted the unpleasant parts of the recent conversation.

<Harry> you and others can feel safe here. I will always delete fighting or rude posts, including my own, if I ever make any again.

I stayed away from cg.com for three months because of the fighting and I'll not have it in my own personal forum.

I miss <Tbone> too man.

Oct-11-15  playground player: <Jessicafischerqueen>, <Alien Math> Here's another classic horror movie, <Carnival of Souls>.

http://www.bing.com/videos/search?q...

There are two schools of thought on this movie. One says it's a totally stupid movie, a laughable excuse for a horror film. But <Mrs. PGP> and I say it's top of the line. Go ahead--try watching it when you're sitting home alone on a late fall afternoon, with the shadows lengthening. You'll see what I mean.

Up until he made this movie, the producer-director of <Carnival of Souls> made industrial safety and instructional films.

And the guy who plays the leering, what-kind-of-disease-will-you-catch-from-him neighbor, was in real life a university professor of drama.

Oct-11-15  catsfaith: <playground player> Many thanks, your selection of film for the arriving holiday are well recieved, tuyết offers her thanks, it provides a good movie for the evening.

I was just thinking of you last night when I saw this amazing live Stevie Nicks recording from 1976.
