We didn't play very well but enjoyed a little face time away from the chess board. Yaz's creativity was evident one hand when the bidding went pass, pass, pass, (Yaz) 4 no trump. We were playing the Blackwood convention so I responded 5 clubs, having no aces. I didn't have any clubs either but hey, it's a convention, OK? The bidding proceeded pass, pass, pass. Now I'm stuck playing 5 clubs with a void in clubs. Yaz lays down all clubs and diamonds with 7 clubs. I managed to make 5 clubs.
