<Deffi> Heh... Yes the Sherman was sometimes outfitted with a petrol flame thrower. How do you know so much about WWII (the big one) weapons brah.

<Edward> As you know England invented the computer, but I found out just last week in a documentary that they just handed all of their computer code and manufacturing details to America right after the war.

There was a lot of resistance from British secret service to do this, but they did it anyway. England is probably America's best friend in the world, except for the two giant wars they fought against each other.

<Hozz> Yep MCU is not a "safe place" for a manager, but LVG dug his own grave. You can't run a team with that much money at its disposal and impose a "careful style" of play. Fans want to see MCU probing defenses and making fabulous attacking runs.

I tell you I've almost seen all the EPL games I missed and Leicester is 10 times more exciting to watch. And they win more than MCU. You do the math!

On a more positive note, I think England's current manager might be gold brah. He's smart, he gives everyone a chance, lets the players play the game they want to play, and most of all his record since taking over has been outstanding.

I hope England can show well in the Euro Championship. I just wish they could find a formation where they could have Kane, Deli Alli, and Vardy all on at the same time for 90 minutes. In England v Germany, Deli Alli was man of the match for me, despite missing an empty net winner near the end, and despite Eric Dier being the hero. Deli Alli is only 19 and I predict he will be capped 100 times or more before he's done.

Finally, the whole team is off Tottenham, Liverpool and now maybe Leicester.

QUESTION: Are there too many foreigners in the EPL? Should they make a stronger restriction on foreigners, like they do in the Russian and Italian leagues?

Apr-03-16  Party Animal: <jessicafischerqueen: ... LOL "Pop hates the Beatles" is POP GOES THE WEESEL aahahahaa

Did any of the lads ever comment on this fine song? Seriously Sherman is a genius.>

The Beatles didn't have time to even hear his song. lol

At about the same time that "Mudda Fodda" was a hit, there were other comedians with top selling albums. Of special note was "The Button Down Mind of Bob Newhart". His "Driving Instructor" bit is still one of the best ever recorded.

There was a TV show called "That Was the Week That Was" or TW3. They lambasted current events and weren't afraid to be extraordinarily intelligent. The music on TW3 was written and performed by Tom Lehrer. Here is a sample entitled "National Brotherhood Week".

"...and everybody hates the Jews." Ah ha ha ha.

<Edward> Is it the playoffs? Are the Cubbies in? I know you told me this before, but isn't there some really old and famous "CURSE OF THE CHICAGO CUBS" that means they will never win the MLB championship?

Actually wasn't there also a Chicago Black Hawks curse- something to do with one of the coaches who got fired, and then he cursed the team? If that was true the Hawks got sweet revenge hosting the Cup.

Please school me on these curses because I know I have cocked up the details.

Heh... I'm not really a baseball fan <Edward>. I used to be a hockey fan a long long time ago, but nowadays the only sport I like to watch is football (soccer).

That said, I'm always up for cheering on Chicago.
