I was thinking about that whilst watching the 2-2 ManC-PSG tie, that <DeBruyne> was a much more important person to have in the lineup than <Sterling>- obviously <Sterling> is hurt which is why he's out of the lineup but...

Well Man City through to the semis now- <DeBruyne> man of the match and, arguably, man of the season, when you compare City's results with him in the lineup to their sorry results without him in the lineup. He missed almost a third of the season and he still has 15 goals in all competitions.

<Aguero> looked pretty relieved when he was subbed off inside the final minute, and with good reason- he surely would have been blamed for a loss. He took several hard knocks from PSG players right after choking on the penalty, which I don't think is a coincidence. Football players are like sharks, when they smell blood in the water they try to finish you off. But <Aguero> showed yet again that he has tons of character, coming back to finish the match in fine form.

Maybe only three indispensable players in City lineup this season- <DeBruyne> <Aguero> and <Mighty Mighty Joe Hart>?

<Christiano> answers all critics this season, same as every season. Real is still alive for a treble because of him, I believe? He even scored on a free kick- his free kick record over the last two years is appalling, but he came through at a good time, anointing himself with the hat trick in fine form. The Wolfsburg defender actually stepped aside to let the ball through the wall, but maybe that's testament to the fear <Christiano> still inspires.

I don't think he has any critics! Apart from the people <still> arguing about who's the best player between him and Messi, a question that was answered long ago, no one criticizes his football. I think it's because he's not very likable and narcissistic but as a footballer he's top 20 ever, without question. I don't see anyone knocking him for that. On the Barca slump, it's sad for the fans but I don't think it's an unusual thing to happen after 39 straight victories. That's right? Not just 39 undefeated, but 39 victories? Well those Spanish tabloids are more fickle than ours, but I never knew they'd blamed Ronaldo for a poor result! The day Ronaldo leaves Madrid the Madristra's will cry because he surely has to be their greatest ever footballer by now. Men lie, woman lie, numbers don't. I think everyone agrees on that now. In fact I think it's beyond question because all you have to do is watch him to see for yourself. You'll never see a footballer l like him again, he's like.. a genius, if that's the right word! I've said it since 2010. He's the best player I've <ever> seen. Even Noel Gallagher said he's never seen anything like him and he's older than me and he really knows his football.

Lol! I think it's something like that yes. And it's a bit early to write Barcelona off, they may be out of the Champions League but they'll be back challenging next year. I don't know whether the current Barcelona side are better than the one from 5 or 6 years ago but they're just mesmerizing to watch.
