Nice work on the Richard III. As always, I enjoy your blue letter purism- flourishes such as refusing to type in exclamation marks! oops I meant...

Er I haven't watched the games from last weekend yet eh? I don't want to know any of the scores until I get a chance to watch them. As a rule, I'm always one week behind. I did watch England's flaccid "performance" against Slovakia. Compare that "performance" with Germany's obliteration of the Czechs. It's a sad, sad season for England.
Sad to say.>
The England "team" is at it's lowest point in my lifetime .. ( which as you know only too well Jess covers just the last 20 years ) Just rancid corruption and "YES" men everywhere you look .. The FA .. after ALL the mistakes made these last decades... STILL continue to make the SAME mistakes ... Unbelievable.... Just like Wimbledon and the English lawn tennis association.. they're a mirror image of the English FA ... (Andy Murray learnt his craft in Spain inspite of and not because of the LTA )... I read today tv ratings for the EPL are down on previous years .. could be many reasons for this but I sense a growing disdain for the sleaze and greed in English football ... |

<Hozza> Nobody give a rat's ass about any music posts, or any posts at all for that matter, in the Kibbutzer Kafe.It is just a bunch of people talking to themselves. Post your music in here brah. Although I don't like the name of the band- nobody smokes or has sex any more- it is good music. Have you heard "cigarette burns" by <Flunk>? Maybe you will like this too: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wTU... EVERYBODY SMOKES and EVERYBODY HAS SEX ...
What planet you livin on ? lol lol
"Flunk" were boring for me ... zzzz

That's a wonderful article on the NOTTINGHAM "father of Italian football"! Thanks <Hozza>. Don't worry- England will rise again. Not sure why <Stirling> wasn't on the pitch though. You need to put that boy on and keep him on as long as it takes. The more he plays the better he plays. |

<Hozza> I'm just about caught up with last week's EPL games, from Oct 15th. Re: your comment on corruption and declining interest in the EPL, I can't imagine that the sponsorship of multiple clubs by cheesy gambling websites is helping matters in this regard. They flash the betting companies in revolving neon lights on the sideboards, just in case you might miss them whilst trying to watch the football. It makes the league look "low rent" from a morals standpoint. Maybe they should all take a pay cut and settle for "La Vache qui Rire" Cheese Company as a sponsor. |

 | | harrylime: Jess I think the EPL mega money bubble will eventually burst .. Not sure if it's happening now, but it will. I agree re all the gambling links ect..
There needs to be a revolution in the sport here, both ethically and sportingly.. So many backward rules .. massive under use of technology .. greedy players who know nothing about the world outside the game and have no connection to the working class man... corrupt owners .. jeeez I could go on ... It should be the "beautiful" game but everyone seems to be trying their hardest to undermine this.. Talentless yes men in the FA go all the way to the top ... England will never win the World cup as long as that's the case. I won't comment on the current games ect coz of spoilers.. But my DCFC are a basketcase running joke in the championship just now ! Re appointing the Brolly ! Huh? What's all that about ?! lol I'll have another listen to that band above.. maybe did'nt do it justice on first listen. |

<Hozza> I'm still on October 16th in EPL, and I just now saw <Joe Allen> score- yet again, this time vs. Sunderland. This is still one of the saving graces of the EPL, the lesser known players and teams can still come to prominence in a way they never seem to do in other leagues, where there is much less parity among the players and clubs. Arguably, in all matches for club and country in the past month or more, nobody in the world is on better form than <Joe Allen>. He steps on the pitch and he scores 1 or even 2 goals, game in and game out. Even when he was injured in Whales' first international match during the break (after scoring), he came back quickly, missing only one game. "Joe Who?"
<Joe Allen>.
It's also inconceivable that a club with a profile like Leicester City could win the championship in any other league. |

Do Not mention Lestah city Jess ..
I'm a DCFC fan here hey ? C'mon ! lol lol
BTW...
Little TINPOT lestah went bankrupt before the FA knew what all the corrupt shenanighans in the running of football clubs was all about ... So little lestah were bought for a pound .. one pound .. and got away with it .. no penalties .. no nothing .. In Scotland Glasgow Rangers .. got demoted to the bottom tier .. I love Lestah .. lol lol |

Aha! So there is a back story to you and Leicester. Thanks for that valuable information. What a strange history that club has eh? On sunnier news my new favorite player <Joe Allen> scored a second goal in the match against Sunderland. What a mensch. Favorite players lists, judged solely on how excited I am to watch them play: My current five favorite EPL players, in order:
<De Bruyne>
<Deli Alli>
<Kun Aguero>
<Messy Ozils>
<Joe Allen>
My current five favorite players in the world:
<De Bruyne>
<Messi>
<Ronaldo>
<Suarez> (the one who bites people) <Deli Alli>
Who are your current five favorite players in the EPL? Who are your current five favorite players in League 1, which is where Derby County is amirite. Who are your current five favorite players in the Scottish league? Who are your current five favorite players in the world? |

<Ohio> lol ok I'm writing that down as one "yes" so far. It's an invalid vote so according to an old rule of the school, that goes in the "yes" column. But don't worry, it's a blind ballot. All votes are confidential. That's why I'm not going to write your name beside the "yes" vote. I think most of the people who come to my forum are usually drunk, so they don't necessarily "remember" much. ######################

He is 'syndicated' throughout the country, a champion of the left. http://bowalleyroad.blogspot.co.nz/... The local public radio website has recently had an upgrade. Radio NZ is a national treasure. http://www.radionz.co.nz/news
'The Spinoff' is fairly new but already has some very good writers on board. It is the brainchild of journalist Duncan Greive and features local stars like Toby Manhire and Steve Braunias. http://thespinoff.co.nz/
<WILL HILL-DAWG START WORLD WAR III?> Like Trotter, I still hold out some hope that Hillary will somehow, in spite of everything, not mess up too badly. One vote for the negative. |

Member since Sep-03-02 · Last seen Jul-27-09> This is indeed stunning news, and testament to the ineffable and numinous character of the "Blue Words." Imagine if you had read the last line and it said this: <Last seen at very end of the Apocalypse> This would only be really impressive if some mysterious glitch in Daniel's software kicked it up. Come to think though, I'm trying to remember a theological discussion we had years ago in <Lee's> forum- I think you maintain that the "New Jerusalem" already happened, right? Peter Gabriel is still waiting for it, as he testifies at the end of "Supper's Ready," my favorite piece of music, bar none. I uploaded this and put subtitles in some months ago: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3h5... |

<Matt> Thanks for those interesting Kiwi News links. I read the article on the front page of the <Bowling Alley Road> site and it is indeed quality analysis. I think so at least. Anyways I bookmarked them all, and now I have three (3) places to get my news and analysis. |

<Ohio> I noticed you voted twice for the <SCIENTIFICAL POLL> I'm running, and because you did it all in "Blue Letters" I'm going to count it as two further "yes" votes. Particularly inventive or elegant votes are counted twice. In my theory of accurate polling, people may vote as many times as they like. Do you think they should institute my theory into the US elections amirite. |
