<Hozza> Part six:

<Wild Tales 2014> http://www.imdb.com/title/tt3011894/

9/10 for me. This is an outstanding horror movie. It reminds me of those old <EC Horror Comics> with almost every story centering around some kind of poetic justice delivered to ordinary people doing really, really bad things to other ordinary people.

I added this movie to my Best Foreign Movie list over at IMDB: http://www.imdb.com/list/ls072494361/

Great Scott is this the one you mean?
TERRIFYING brah.

I have to agree on <Peanuts gang> singing HARK THE HERALD ANGELS which I almost forgot about so thanks for reminding me.

"Glory to, the new born King" indeed, my dear <John Travolta>.

Offhand, I'd say a Canadian artist.
No, make that a trans artist from BC ... Kamloops, maybe.

In one of his Psmith books, PG Wodehouse featured a dodgy Canadian poetess and conperson, Miss Peavey.

<Dom> Really? I've not seen any horror movie more frightening than the nasal terror of <GAYLA PEEVEY>.

On your previous note, you may be horrified to learn that my Canadian neighborhood was quite Anglophile- gusting up to Loyalist. There was a picture of the Queen in my principal's office in elementary school and we started each and every morning reciting the Lord's Prayer and singing GHOD SAVE OUR GRACIOUS QUEEN GHOD SAVE OUR NOBLE QUEEN and such.

I only watched PBS from the get go because I can't stand to watch adverts. So as you may guess around 100% of the content was from the BBC.

So I grew up on "Match of the Day," explaining how I know about footy.

Dec.10, <Hull City v Palace>

Re: our plan for eliminating this crap- <Snodgress> has just fooled the ref into awarding a penalty against <Scott Dahn>, and the replay shows NO CONTACT. ZERO CONTACT.

The ref fell for the dive and he even gave <Dahn> a yellow card.

Electronics would fix this instantly. No need to invent any new kinds either- simply a video replay would do.

Dec-21-16  Travis Bickle: <Great Scott is this the one you mean? TERRIFYING brah.> Yo Jess, Gayla Peevey is a martian who landed in Canada way back when... ; P

P.S. I'm glad you like my Mos Def Jam.. I think it's a Super Jam that got lost under the radar just like Ms Peevey. ; P

Domdaniel: <Jess> Ghod Save Our Kween, yes indeedy. I gather She (Who Must Be Obeyed) might need special "saving" just now, as both HM Lizzie and 'Prince' Phil the Greek have cancelled engagements due to illness. They're aged 95 and 90, after all. And despite the heartfelt pleas of Brit nationalists, they're not really immortal.

So don't be surprised if Britain enters a year of mourning, while King Charles III is crowned and denounces all carbuncles.

Strange place, the Former United Christian Kingdom. Why, they 'May' even leave the EU, daft as it sounds.

<T-bong> heh Allan Sherman NAKASHUMA Japanese company...

<BOOMIE> Will enjoy this as he is a rabid Sherman Tank fan, and he knows a great deal about World War II (the big one) weaponry in general.

I'm sure he's seen this Sherman gem before, perhaps in a documentary about the "hedgerows of Normandy."

heh... maybe if they pleat hard enough it will work.

<Dom> did you ever make it to Canada I forget if you did or not. I remember you have a good friend in Canada eh?

If you go to Canada try to visit the Loyalist Belt in Ontario, on the north bank of the mighty mighty St. Lawrence river, between Ottawa and the Great Lakes.

Fish n' Chip shoppes galore and yes you know its "authentic" because they wrap it in an old newspaper. Photos of the Queen looking outward from every store window. Scowling locals on queue whenever hapless immigrants have trouble making themselves understood in the motor vehicle branch.

Yes you'll feel at home, or you would do if you actually lived in Blighty.

Do they have Fish n' Chip shoppes in Ireland brah.

<Hozza> Well I'm just on Dec. 11 now and I'm watching <West Brom> trying to hold a draw against <Chelsea>. The notable match from yesterday (Dec. 10 lol) was surely <The Foxes> ripping the guts out of <Man City> in just about five minutes. Another dagger to your heart! Those pesky <Foxes> just refuse to die eh?

Possibly they can still make more footy history by becoming the first club to win the EPL, and then get relegated *and* win the UEFA Champion's League in the very next season.

<Hozza>

Yikes <Diego Costa> just pulled the plug on poor <Tony Poolis>.

<Chelsea v West Brom 1-0>

<Costa> has to be a front runner for EPL player of the year eh?

Now still on Dec. 11, about to start watching my <Spurs> face the crazed, and getting more crazed by the day, <Jose "Merano" Sheep>.

I wonder if the ref will banish him to the upper tier without a cell phone.

Again. lol

<Hozza> ooh I have Rob Hawthorne and Gary Neville commentating today on <Spurs-Man United>, the best commentary duo in football today, for my money.

At least if <Spurs> break my heart, as they do on a weekly basis, I'll know exactly why, thanks to these stout lads. Especially Gary.

Ok I'm going to bite the bullet now. I'll be back in 90 minutes or so.

Also don't worry about replying to the 4000 posts I just wrote you- all in your time, my good man. I have several days off, as you may have guessed.

Well <Tottenham> chokes again.

Not enough energy, nerve, drive, and above all not enough quality in the final third of the pitch, especially when the outcome of a match is at stake.

<Spurs> bought two "big" players this year <Sissoko n' Janssen>. <The Damned United> bought two "big" players this year <Ibrahimovic n' Pogba>. Gahh this match left no doubt about who got the better deal.

Who is doing the buying for <Spurs> because they did a crap job this season. Didn't they get a lot of bonus money for their high finish in the standings last year?

In my whole life, every team I support in every sport loses. I'm the kiss of death for any franchise.

Dec-23-16  harrylime: Yo <Mrs Jess> !

Yes indeed there's loads to catch oooop on ere and yes we are really outta sync ! lol

Re DCFC and the "old" games .. Charlie George was really an Arsenal icon .. he came to Derby and helped us become champions of England , but he's Arsenal really..

Dec-23-16  harrylime: Yeah Spurs seem to "choke" too often ..

Sissoko must be havin a laff in his bath with the champagne and all the Tottenham money ..

I watched the Manc U v Spurs game..

I'm wondering aboot <Pocketchess> as a manager tbh ..

He's good .. but for the big games he can't get the results or seem to motivate the players..

Dec-23-16  harrylime: hey <Jess> just read that and Woah there !

There's only a tiny bit of silverware on offer here in Blighty to ALL football clubs ..

Spurs are doing ok and planning well for the future ..

Stay tuned and don't switch your radio off...

Things will improve.

Dec-23-16  harrylime: Oh and re Snodgrass and Ull TIN POT city .. he admitted to DIVING on Twitter...
