<Big> What a great movie and song eh? Did you ever see the 35 hour long extended play version <Apocalypse Redux>?

It lacks in pacing but it includes several interesting (and long) sequences that didn't make it into the theatrical cut- including a tribe of French colonialists who refused to leave Vietnam, and many sex scenes between some of our friends and the playboy bunnies.

Also I hadn't realized it before but did you know the playboy bunny impresario is the legendary <Bill Graham>, probably best known for creating the fabled Fillmore West and East. I read his autobiography years ago, highly recommended for anyone interested in the history of American music in the 1960s- 1970s.

Finally (until the next one), I've left some scribblings in our top secret movie house. I made comments while watching the two films you dropped on me. Afterward, I read the reviews of Resolution, which showed me how little I understand of the modern horror genre. Well, I guess that's why we're working on it. Apparently, it's going to take a lot longer than originally thought. I forgot to factor in my own darn self and how slow self can be to understand something. Damn his eyes!

Sep-26-17  Dr Winston OBoogie: Good to see you back Jess.

I won't mention the diarrhea in Korea because there's a Disgrace in the States that's even worse.

All the best :)

Sep-26-17  crawfb5: No, I don't recall having ever sat through <Apocalypso Redone>, but possibly I slipped into an alternate reality and back again.

Speaking of alternate realities, we finally got rid of cable and I have been watching a few things available through Amazon Prime:

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1034314... Nazis on the dark side of the moon -- Finns do satire

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0470752... Turing test gone wild

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt3289728... I tried watching this yesterday, but the pacing was way too slow for me to stick with it

Sep-29-17  Alien Math: ah, sorry about the news overflow

the halloween era is nearer and more and more posts on twitter are about what movies people will watch, i was curious if you had any favorites or any set of movies to be watched?

i thought the movie It remake was decent

<Big Wampum>

Thanks for those three extremely strange recommendations. You sure know your audience eh? The Finnish movie seems directly relevant to my interests so I just "ordered" it from my friends at the <Prate Bay>. Iron Sky (2012) lol Finnish horror comedy this should be good.

I'm guessing Amazonia is better than Netsux for ordering online streaming eh?

Nothing could be worse than Netsux. They just raised their price too, for the worst service on the planet. Crappy resolution and rampant geo blocking makes sure you'll get the very worst for your money.

I don't watch anything unless the resolution is so high I can see the hairs growing out of Leonardo Di Caprio's pimples.

That's just how I roll.

<tbonesteaks> thanks for that wonderful Peter Gabriel track which I never heard before. I just ordered the Edward Snowball movie from <Prate Bay> as well. I didn't even know it existed!
