Jun-28-11 | | Boomie: <JessShaver>
I sneakily set you up for SPLONGE.
I'll bet you're kicking yourself now.
Or rolling on the futon laughing. |
|
Jun-28-11
 | | jessicafischerqueen: I was going to put SPLONGE but Monty Python already did that one. |
|
Jun-28-11 | | Benzol: <Jess> I was wondering if you were a John Barron fan because of the name you've now adopted on your forum. I enjoyed him as the Dean in the comedy series "All Gas and Gaiters" and also in the series "Timeslip". He featured in a bit part in the 1960 movie "Sink the Bismarck". He also made appearances in many British TV series throughout the 60's and 70's including the famous "The Rise and Fall Of Reginald Perrin". |

 | | jessicafischerqueen: <Benzol> I didn't get where I am today without being a John Barron fan. Here's a video I made about him for <playground player>: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-QFs... |

Jun-28-11 | | fab4: Exile is a unique album as you imply.
Nellcote was built in the 1890'a but hosted the Gestapo during the war.. The atmospherics and ambience there, combined with where the Stones were at artistically at the time, were enough of a coctail to produce arguably the greatest album in popular music. |
|
Jun-28-11 | | Travis Bickle: Jess here's another orchestrated McCartney called Standing Stone. http://youtu.be/bjwyC_Mm_v4 |
|
Jun-28-11 | | technical draw: Are you sure that's not Standing Stoned? |

Jun-28-11
 | | jessicafischerqueen: <T-Bone Walker> as usual I"m at work so I'll have to wait till I get home to listen to "Sir Paul Beethoven"! My dear <TD> welcome to my house. Yes, <Sir Paul> had a bit of trouble in Japan with that stuff. I used to think the Japanese had no sense of humor until I learned about Pearl Harbor. |
|
Jun-28-11 | | technical draw: <My dear <TD> welcome to my house.> Thank you I've been here before. I usually sneak in the kitchen, grab me a beer and vamoose! |
|
Jun-28-11 | | TheFocus: <TD> I do too!! Let's meet up later and go get drunk at <jess>'s house! |
|
Jun-28-11
 | | jessicafischerqueen: Gentlemen you are more than welcome. Just remember that "BYOB" doesn't just mean bring your own beer. It also means "Bring your own broad." |
|
Jun-28-11 | | TheFocus: I figured you would hook us up with some hot Korean chicks! Although, I think <TD> is a little too old for them. BTW, do you like my Forum name? |
|
Jun-28-11
 | | jessicafischerqueen: LOL!!!!
Yes I do!
Good grief man yes I know plenty of hot Korean chicks, but they never talk to me. The regard me to be a "foreign devil." |
|
Jun-28-11 | | TheFocus: I bet he would get a kick out of it too.
Most people think we are enemies, but we shook hands a while back. We just like to throw stones at each other every now and then. Just having some fun. Most people just don't realize that he is a jokester. I agree that he has some hilarious posts. But I like the guy. |

Jun-29-11 | | Travis Bickle: Hi Jess, I'm glad you liked the McCartney classical music. He's actually done 3 classical works, 'Working Classical', Liverpool Oratorio & Standing Stone. The amazing thing is Sir Paul can't read or write music, he has to work with a classical composer to realize the musical ideas in his head! True genius. Paul McCartney truly is a renaissance man. Paul is a well established painter working mostly in oils. I have a book of his paintings in a thick volume. In addition Macca has written a book of poems & also a childrens book. Oh beside his Beatles thing and his solo pop music LOL! |
|
Jun-29-11 | | Travis Bickle: Jess here is a few photo's of Pauls paintings in the book I have. If you click on the photo's they will enlarge. http://www.mccartneyart.com/index.htm |

Jun-29-11
 | | Domdaniel: Hey, Jess.
You and Travis may be innarested to hear that Paul McCartney is also an *official subject* in modern philosophy. There are real academic papers in which real academic philosophers puzzle over questions like "If Paul McCartney had died in the 1960s - as conspiracy wonks argue, based mostly on the cover of Abbey Road and some line John sang about a 'dead man' - before he became one himself, obviously - then WHO was the guy in Wings, who married Linda and that other non-greedy lady ...?"Profound, innit. It's probably more fun than endless tedious debates about the existence of Harvey. What else? Oh, <shiv> - no relation to the makeshift weapon of that name - was wondering how he came to be on your ignore list. I'm not appealing -- hell's bells, you *know* how unappealing I am -- but I couldnae help being curious, like. I didn't get where I was yesterday by minding my own business, y'know. Cheers, anyhow. I hope you haven't been a broad too long. WHY YOU MAY ASK
Dunno. It, eh, 'felt' right. |
