Hang on a second <Tennessee Ernie Ford> that's a country musician from the Excited States, if I remember correctly. |

| Dec-30-19 | | Boomie: <Seminal Jessical: If people don't listen to you...> To be uncharacteristically honest, I adapted (read stole) that from the rather wonderful cynic Fran Lebowitz's hilarious collection of essays "Social Studies" and "Metropolitan Life". Another memorable rant from her concerns her desire to remove all dogs from her beloved New York City. She was stuck on seeing eye dogs until she hit on the solution to let the lonely lead the blind. She sees the best thing about Trump's election is that it got him out of NYC...heh. |

| Dec-30-19 | | Boomie: <Jessticular Homocide: Tattoos> The tattoo craze began when Cook discovered the Maoris in Kweewee land. They used tattoos to discourage any pain in the ass Californians from moving there. |

| Dec-30-19 | | Boomie: <Jess Sayin': <Tennessee Ernie Ford>> He was mainly a gospel singer with a drop dead gorgeous baritone. Gospel music is one of the very few positive contributions of religion. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RRh... |

Gospel time with <Teem> He is wonderful eh?
My favorite Gospel singer is <Mavis Staples>. Here she is with her family doing "I'll Take You There" which was a combination Gospel and Civil Rights number: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IZT... |

<jameschess>
Did I post that partial pgn somewhere, or did you see that I had marked it as "Unreadable score so far" in this games collection? Game Collection: Riga championship 1940 I hope the admins sort out a new staff who will resume uploading games again. I have a couple of hundred at least waiting to be submitted. But I'm not going to submit any of them until I know they will end up somewhere other than the "ether". If absolutely necessary, I will eventually post the pgns in the kibbutz boxes on the player pages. I hope it doesn't come to that though. I will wait to see what happens first. |
|
| Dec-31-19 | | jameschess: <jessicafischerqueen> You are right, I saw it in Game Collection: Riga championship 1940 which you've marked "Unreadable score so far". I just tried to solve it.😊 |

| Dec-31-19 | | Count Wedgemore: Happy New Year, dear Jessica!
Many warm greetings from one cold country to another. I think both Canadians and Norwegians are on average more intelligent than the rest of the World. The explanation is quite simple: Our cold weather preserves brain cells. Remember, studies show that human beings lose about 1% of their brain cells per year through adulthood. But our countries' consistently low temperatures ensure that Canadians and Norwegians only lose around 0.5% per year. As we say here in Norway: GODT NYTT ÅR!! |

My dear <Count> that is precisely the same Nude Deer <©JFQ Productions (™) Associated Meat Packers (®) all rights reserved) If <<<Boomie>>> claims he invented "Nude Deer" my girl will be forced to call his girl)> greeting used by the New York City Transit Authority! I had no idea they were Norwegian. GT (Go Downtown) NYTT (New York Transit Ticketing) AR (sit your arse down on one of our comfortable trains). Thanks to the international flavor of CG.com, we can learn many new facts and sciencings. |

| Dec-31-19 | | Boomie: <Jessimus: Happy Nude Deer!> Perhaps you enjoy frittering away your time in court. However I've been informed by my solicitor, the good ship HMS123, that my creation, "Hippy Nude Dear" <all rights removed>, is not infringed by your variation. So laffa while you can, monkey girl. |

 | | jessicafischerqueen:
<Team Tim>
A likely story! He used to be my lawyer as well. I chose him based on the infamous <Nashville Towne Center Mall> vs <Santa Claus> lawsuit, in which <hms123> forgot which side he was representing during a three and a half hour summation. You pay for quality, you get quality. |

A baker's dozen for posting the origin of my "monkey girl" joke. |

<Tim of my Life (from the Dirty Dancing Sound Track)> A dozen bakers? I'd give a hundred bakers to learn the secret. They are currently in the mail. I hope I can get the anecdote before <Professional Boxing Day>, but in Canada "the mail" is more of a suggestion than a reality. |

 | | jessicafischerqueen:
<The Adventures of Buckaroo Timzai Across the 8th Dimension> Good heavens I had to google that. Imagine my surprise to realize that I had already seen it, but that the only thing I recall is my friend explaining- in great detail- that it is paying homage to French surrealist writing. I didn't know anything about French surrealist writing at the time. I still don't...
I saw <The Fabulous Baking Boys> with <A Bridges Too Many> as well. That was inordinately clever the way they combined a show biz dramedy with a blockbuster war movie about the ill-fated airborne assault on the bridges at Eindhoven. You really know your movies eh? |
