<Annie> I don't know for sure, but if you look at the Wikipedia article the two sets of games seem to fit comfortably into one time frame:

My girl will be phoning your girl to irritate legal proceedings. I advise you in advance that I have secured (retired) lawyer <hms123>.

This will take some time, however (pace Ohio Chess Fan) because after three days of (oral and written) communication, <hms123> is still not clear which side I want him to represent.

Recalling his infamous closing arguments in <Nashville vs. Santa Claus> in which he delivered his arguments against <Nashville>, the side he was being paid to represent, I have incorrectly determined he will be the best man to argue my case.

Since <Santa Claus> ended up (correctly) winning the suit, he is still allowed to prance around in that red and white outfit.

Therefore, we however (re: Ohio Chess Fan) we (I) have decided to retain <hms123>. Or restrain <hms123>.

I can't remember which, so my girls will be getting back to your girls in the future, or past, whichever we determine to be most in our (we) best interests.

The Party of the 1st Part, heretofore referred to as the Party of the First Part, shall indemnify the Parting of the 2nd Part.

I don't know what "indemnify" means but it sounds painful.

<Tim> I don't know what it means either, but I would bet money my lawyer <hms123> has even less of an idea than we do.

That's mainly why I keep hiring him, to be honest.

OhioChessFan: Have you noticed GM Golubev, today's Player of the Day? For my money, he is the most unappreciated kibitzer on the site.

I was unaware of his existence even! I don't really pay attention to anything in chess later than 1945 these days, but I can see his posting behavior is admirable. Reminds me a bit of when <Gata Kamsky> did a lot of interesting kibbutzing amirite.

Mikhail Vladimirovich Golubev seems dedicated to chronicling his most interesting involvement in the chess world on his cg.com page eh? I see also that you are currently engaged in an ongoing discussion with him.

Urnotrong, grah.

The critics seem to prefer "Duck Soup", but I'm a sentimental slob. So I would agree with the senator from BC. "A Night at the Opera" is the Marx bomb.

lol <the only living member who still remembers the keys to the Moose Book forum>

I have forgotten every password we used for various projects back in the day.

I don't even remember the password to my own forum, which I have recently tattooed on my forehead- in backwards letters, like in the movie <Memento> where the dink with no short term memory tattoos reminders all over himself in backwards letters so that when he gets up in the morning and goes to the washroom he can "read himself" and know what he has to do that day...

<Tim> fun fact- I was doing a little googling and did you know <Sandra Dee> was not her real name?

Her given name was <Sandra Tweedle Dee Dee> but the ruining everyone's fun studio forced her to shorten it...

Jun-03-20  Boomie: <Jess Sayin': <Sandra Tweedle Dee Dee>>

She was no bigger than your thumb. That made her perfect for "Inspector Gidget".
