Jul-26-11  TheFocus: <jess> I want you to know that I will be closing down my Forum on Friday and taking a medical leave.

Your kindness and support has been much appreciated.

I don't know how long I will be gone, but maybe I will drop in and post a new <Jewmas> story.

I have your e-mail address, but don't be annoyed if I don't follow up on contacting you soon. I will have a full plate for a while.

I promise to return.

This place is too fun to stay away from.

I am finishing up Part 2 of Bobby's 1964 Tour this week.

Save a dance for me, <Queenie>.

LIFE Master AJ: In the above game I had about 20 seconds left, my opponent had about 2. He asked me after the game if I was using a program to play chesss! (Of course not.)

How are you Jess? Doing OK? Are you working on any video's or anything like that?

Jul-27-11  hms123: <jess> I just got an email from your hotmail account with just a link. I deleted it, but thought you ought to know.

  jessicafischerqueen: Thank you <H>

I just closed it as per instructions and got this message from <MSN= MASTERS OF VIAGRA AUTO-SPAM>

<Your email account is now closed

Your stored messages and contact list will be permanently deleted within the next few days.>

It also said I have to "not sign in" for 270 days or it will "reactivate."

I went in there a few months ago to find an old CG.com friend's address which is how it probably got reactivated. I won't be doing that again.

I hate Microsoft.

EVERYONE IF YOU GET SOMETHING FROM "me" THAT COMES FROM <MSN Hotmail> DO NOT OPEN THE EMAIL OR ANY LINK ON IT.

It will send you pornography or a viagra advertisement.

My YAHOO email is fine, it has super secret protection and no problems with that. So you can trust my YAHOO email.

Also my YAHOO email only has around 8 people on it- all of them from <CG.com>.

  jessicafischerqueen: Thanks <caucho>!

You actually started me off with some <Nezh> stuff over a year ago if you remember.

Yes please post anything you find because you never know if I have it.

I do in fact have both of those 1954 Team Photos and the name key- and I have two more versions of that photo as well.

But I'm certain there are still images on the internets I haven't seen yet.

Jul-27-11  WBP: <Jess> I see you have Frank Brady's new book on Fischer (Endgame). I read that earlier this summer. I found the first part much like an abbreviated Profile of a Prodigy, which I prefer for Fischer's career up to his attaining the World Championship; second part is dark, sad, and tragic. And now I also have the Benson book and a new collection of Fischer's complete games, edited by German GM Karsten Muller. Do you have this last? It's really interesting, with little anecdotes and good analysis, at points. (Also, some photos I've not seen.) And I have also managed to get an unused edition of My 60 Memorable Games with descriptive notation; as you no doubt know, Fischer hated the revised edition in algebraic, which changed much of his analysis. (And for what it's worth, he always used descriptive, as did I, until a year or so back.) All good books! Best, Bill

  WannaBe: 'Allo,

I just went on youtube, and entered your name, and http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=drJj... was the first video that popped up, very informative, for I, play the Scotch from white side...

I am curious, would you entertain me, in a game (rated/unrated) on gameknot.com because I don't like Queen Alice's interface, and have not logged on there for over 2 years.

I like a game that is 3 days or more per move, and I do not care for the colour.

I expect that you would win, but I would like to have said that I tried, and played you.

(And as far I can remember, you are not a CG team member on gameknot. If so, why not?? =)

My handle on GameKnot is WannaBeCG.

I'm VERY impressed you can make a living at poker! Are you a secret sockpuppet of <Alex Grischuk>?

jessicafischerqueen: <Bill> I'm glad you liked Endgame too- if you compare carefully with "POAP," (profile of a prodigy) the first section actually has a lot of new and very interesting information.

What's all this now about non-algebraic notation?

You mean calculus?

Most dedicated Bigfoot sites, such as Oregon Bigfoot and others, have thrown in the towel on <Patterson>.

There's just too much <photographic> evidence that it's a hoax. I don't mean the photo stills from the film- I mean actual photos of Roger and his friends setting up the hoax.

If you're interested I'll find the links for you.

jessicafischerqueen: My dear <MannBee> I was just talking about you yesterday. I can't remember what about though.

Thanks for the invitation, but I don't play friends on the internets any more at any time control- I find it too nerve wracking.

Oddly, I have no problem playing friends OTB. Such as at my Club in Vancouver, or against the Club President who is a good pal and a real mensch too.

He pounds me, I think he's around 65% against me lifetime, something like that.

However, thanks again, and enjoy "watching <Monk> on the internets."
