 | | Stonehenge: I've uploaded some games by Hercule Goudjou. Mostly from https://www.arhisah.ro/wp-content/u... and one from http://heritageechecsfra.free.fr/18.... Not sure what this is: Paris (1881). |

"Colbert: cancelled.
Kimmel: cancelled.
Free speech: cancelled.
Health care: cancelled.
Education: cancelled.
Vaccinations against horrible diseases: you bet they're cancelled. Sounds like the GOP is the real cancel culture in Murica." |

 | | mifralu: Biographer Bistro (kibitz #34243) Many thanks for your efforts, I only changed <53. ...fxg3 54. Rxg3> (which would lead to checkmate for White) to <53. ...Re5 54. Rxf4+ 1/2-1/2.> BTW, the game was played in Memphis, and The Commercial Appeal was also published in Memphis, not Nashville. |

Memphis > Nashville (ack! I was late for my daily nap!).
Sending you the graphical re-construction along with my notes.

Dec-28-25
 | | jnpope: Forgot to send my notes:
1) Moves 16 and 17 for both are re-sequenced as they appear to be printed out of order.
2) White's 26th and 27th moves inserted where they belong with White's subsequent moves dropping down two spots (which makes everything play through).
3) 40...R-Kt3! isn't given as a check, so 40...Rb6 appears to have been played.
4) 49...Rc6 used (silicon beast thinks it is stronger than 49...Rf6).
