No, not really. It's mild there compared to here. But a few of them are opinionated, that's for sure... |

|
Oct-31-09
 | | kutztown46: No problem, <OD>. Let me know if other games start up there. |
|
Nov-16-09 | | hms123: <kutztown46> I think you will enjoy the BoB3 game--it is similar in tone to the hiarcs game but without computers. |
|
Nov-16-09
 | | kutztown46: <hms123>
In previous BoB games, how many typically voted on each move? |
|
Nov-17-09 | | hms123: <kutz> somewhere between 22 and 27. |
|
Dec-23-09 | | WinKing: I wish you Happy Holidays <kutztown46>!:) |

Jul-27-10 | | zanshin: <So white's 24th move may have been the turning point. Can someone with Rybka confirm this?> <kutz> I'll do an overnight run with Rybka 4 and post tomorrow. Btw, great job on the spreadsheet. |
|
Jul-27-10 | | jepflast: <k> I posted the link and password for our recent Tree on the game's page. Will have more to say about it later....
I'd be interested to see your spreadsheet.. it probably looks like mine from the first Challenge. |
|
Jul-29-10 | | zanshin: <kutz> Fwiw, I was able to get a decent run on White move 24 (Rybka 4 - top 3 moves). Based on this, I don't think it can be considered a turning point in the game: [-0.14] d=17 24.Rh5 Nc4 25.d5 Bg3 26.Kd1 Rb4 27.Qh1 Be5 28.Bxc4 Bxc3 29.bxc3 Rxc4 30.Rxh6 Qxd5 31.Qxd5 Bxd5 32.Rxg6 fxg6 33.Kc2 Kf7 34.Bd2 Ke6 35.Kd3 Rg4 (6:35:26) 7240141kN [-0.23] d=16 24.Rf1 Kg7 25.Qf3 Nd5 26.Kd1 Rg3 27.Qf2 Qh4 28.Bf3 Nb4 29.d5 (0:16:02) 205015kN [-0.34] d=16 24.Bd2 Nc4 25.Bxc4 Bg3 26.Kd1 Bxc4 27.Kc2 Qb6 28.Nb5 Rf6 29.d5 Rc8 30.Kb1 Rc5 31.d6 Be6 32.Qg2 (6:34:29) 7231818kN |

Aug-29-10 | | twinlark: Hi Kutz! You going to try and run workshops in this latest challenge? |
|
Aug-29-10
 | | kutztown46: <twinlark>
Good to see you again! With one day per half move time control, it will be very difficult to administer a forum system as we have in the past. |
|
Aug-29-10
 | | Open Defence: I think once the demand for forums evolve, we can then think about running them, otherwise our energies are dissipated in just trying to keep the forums active and useful |

 | | sbevan: <kutztown46: Would a premium team member volunteer to track the voting statistics? We have done that in previous games. As the game progresses, it will be interesting to see how the total number of voters changes, etc.
If you are willing to do it, just use your forum header to store the data and we can link to your forum from the sticky.> I don't mind but I don't know how to do it.
As well Kuz, I'm away a fair bit in September and perhaps even October. So if: 1. you could tell me how to do this – I’m afraid I don’t know what you mean by using the forum header. I’m also unclear on how to store the data. I assume you mean the actual numbers that CG puts up?; and 2. someone can pinch it while I'm away - I’m prepared to take the lead. Sorry to be confused I guess it goes with age – I’m a few years ahead of you... Good to have you and good to see you again<twinlark> |

 | | sbevan: I see checkitout volunteered, so that's good.
Cheers! |

Sorry if you volunteered first. I wasn't looking here for responses. It looks like you've been a member here for almost 4 years but have not done anything with your profile page. If you go there and click on "Edit your preferences" there is a section called "Your chessgames.com bio". That is what I call the forum header. You can use that section for anything you want. If you visit other members' profile pages you will see a variety of uses for this section. You may also wish to click on the box that says "Activate your chessforum". That will allow you and others to post messages at your page just as you posted a message at mine. |
