It's a little thing more to say here.. White is NOT allowed to move his king! So the question is..

Have you heard about the senoipeople who lives, or lived in Malysia?

They are known for not having the same kind of the worries we have here in the "civilised" west.Also due to their way of using their dream as a kind of balancer. From early childhood the kids learn how to contact what they meat in dreams,instead of fighting it.(as we,generally,are used to here in e.g.Europe).Something which can be trained. I know it is easier said than done,but the first mover is to realise and then starting to explore. Contact and starting to let faith grow could do as the keywords.

Yeah, the Field of Dreams are very interesting. In my youth I was very interested in to learn to take control in a dream.. (yes girls! he he). I believe it should be possible in theory, and in some future even in practise. Seems reasonable that a lot of excersices is needed.

My own experience suggests that <dream control> can be possible when you're not sleeping too deep. One has to be near to wake up, somewhere between sleeping and be awake. So one can realise that one is dreaming and take control. Yeeehaaa!

But I have never being succesful more than maybe a few seconds.. In one dream I was aware that I was dreaming. So I tryied to fly up in the room.. I jumped up in the air and used my arm like I was swimming..

After that, there is a nice combination which force the black king to step in to the Great Shadow of the white king. Then it will pass over the line from our world to <the world of nightmares>..

So the matingsquare is h8/g8 !?.

So, it's time to think anew about all this...

The key being in order to get to those squares the Black King would have to pass via a route of » <Ke8> » <Kf8> » <<Kg8>> or » <Kh5> » <Kh6> » <Kh7> » <<Kh8/g8>>.

Your new 'target squares' to totally fixate on are ♔ standing on <'e8'> or <'h5'> first? Now you only have to concentrate on how you're going to force the Black King to move to either one of those squares first without moving your King! ~lol~ In addition, can you force the defending King to either square or is only one or the other possible? I know - questions-questions-QUESTIONS! :P

Caught the Chess problem bug early as a teenager (12-13 years of age) and have been solving those and much more complex and devilish ones for the last 50 years! :D

Hehehe... :) I was so happy when discovering your new ~chessforum~ entry had popped into the <CG.com> world. :) After I'd posted noting: <Magnusch: <moronovich> E8 or H5 is enough (if one doesn't want to torture the poor king..).> new posting arrival while I was busy constructing. Thought it best to just leave everything in place and intact here anyway. As, I simply added to the explanation of "why?" which is essential when understanding the art of solutions to clever Chess problems such as this one. :))

This got me to thinking about the special headlines we choose to display for our beloved chessforums... In your case, <"Prairie Winds & Unleft Pints"> Immediately started me looking for various ways to rhyme 'Prairie Winds' with things like 'Unplugged Pins!' ~lol~ Then after that unique occurrence thought how nice it would be if only for a day to play a little prank twice a year on April 1st (April Fools Day) and Halloween (last day in October). Where anything goes! ~lol~ Looks like I won't have to wait very long as 'Halloween' is first up and it's right around the corner! o_O

Your use of "Unleft Pints" brought on a slur of parched activity... After looking up "Unleft" and not finding it (for a brief moment in time quickly looked over at my 'Compact Edition of the OED' the 2 volume set) then thought your intent was a meaning such as "Undrunk" (meaning: 'not swallowed') to be the key in play here. :P

Otherwise I could go with rogges Pints Consumed.

Yeah, I saw that too (you had the luxury to place that $1,500 bet). Anyhoo, <Switch> has now joined me in my quest for setting things right in the <ChessBookie> game. Making it crystal clear to the Admin's just how unfair it is not to pay the bets off in accordance with the settlement dates on time. Under the present set of conditions it's not a game anymore -- it's at best a half-hazard attempt at a betting game with no rules or conditions. I don't think either <Switch> or I are going let this one be <"swept under the rug"> this time like it usually is... 'nuff said.
