| Aug-20-10 | | MrMelad: Thank you mister for the kind words! :)
You should know its likewise, and your sense of humor and wit are always a welcomed ingredient! 2316 is a great elo to have, I was wondering what's your online rating at ICC or playchess.. |
|
Aug-20-10
 | | moronovich: <MrMelad> Thanks !
I dont play on ICC or Playchess. |
|
Aug-21-10
 | | moronovich: <Maltrope> I am glad you like and recognize both Bagdad and Neill. The later I once saw/heard in Bruxelles.Together with Pearl Jam.
As I told my buddie that it was a nice gesture from old Neill to bring the youngsters to his tour.Whereupon he corrected me and told it actually was the other way round - lol ! - In the end he played my favourite "Powderfinger" and no pints were left unleft ;).
Talking about soundtracks-I must "admit" that I am eternal in love with "Ennio Moricones" music to
"Once upon a time".As well as the movie itself.
Take care and see you round the next corner ! |

| Sep-01-10 | | virginmind: hi <moronovich>, it's nice to see you opened your forum, may you have here many and entertaining conversations or simply just thoughts sharing. ah and finally i get to notice you're from dennmark ;) wow, and even born in elsinore, the home of a quite famous character of shakespeare :) also i've noticed the kind and sensible answer you've just posted on my forum, actually i believe you have quite a poetic tendency in your feelings sometimes. yes, i agree with what you said there and i am glad that we share some ideas regarding our place and destiny in this spinning world... |
|
| Sep-11-10 | | virginmind: sorry to hear bent larsen is dead. may he rest in peace. |
|
Sep-11-10
 | | moronovich: Thanks <virginmind>!.Yes, Bent was one of the greatest. And I do sincerely hope he has found peace, though he mentally gave the impression in his later years that he had come to terms with age.But I dont know to much about how he was affected by his diseases. I am gratefull I met him on several occasions. He was an immense source of inspiration. And how are you doing in Romania !?
Is it fine/OK with the upcomming autum, or...
In any case, thanks for dropping by.It is much appreciated.
So see you around ! ... |
|
| Sep-12-10 | | vonKrolock: Gibson's <Hamlet> is one of my favorite movies - excellent, except for <Sir> Mel himself in the title role ... |
|
| Sep-14-10 | | virginmind: <moronovich> ah so you've met him, cool. yes, great mind and seemingly a very kind type also. as of me i haven't played any gm, only happened to be in the same tournament with a few of (mostly romanian) ones. the autumn is getting pretty sunny here, after a week of morosity, and yeah, i'm pretty well - which i hope it's also your case. for the rest of the autumn i'll have to concentrate on some writing requirement for my job, which now i realise i've procrastinated for too long. |
|
Sep-15-10
 | | moronovich: <vonKrolock> Thanks for stopping by.
I enjoyed very much to visit Kronenborg(the castle where Hamlet takes place) as a kid.And the phrase "To be or not To Be" meant a lot in my upbringing. I dont know Hamlet as a story-but glad you liked it-and it seems that it means quite a lot to many people al over the world.
But poor Mel-seems like he is in deep trouble :( .If a parent is a fanatic that happens frequently..as far as I can tell. |
|
Sep-15-10
 | | moronovich: <virginmind>
I am doing fine, thank you.But perhaps a little harder getting used to the summer is gone, than I thought !? :)/:(
And all the best to your writing requirements.See you around! |
|
| Sep-17-10 | | whiteshark: Danish olympic goal according to their coach: 'This time it's about to end up as far as possible ahead of Norway.' hehe :D |
|
Sep-17-10
 | | moronovich: <whiteshark> Thanks for the info ! I was not aware of that. But I dont think it will help :(
And you cheer for the germans !?
Do you know were to find the line up of the teams !? |
|
| Sep-17-10 | | whiteshark: <I was not aware of that.> I don't know either if Gustafsson was just joking. That's quite possible. :D <Do you know were to find the line up of the teams !?> http://chess-results.com/Tnr36795.a...
or more generally: http://chess-results.com/olympiad/d...
Homepage of the organizer http://www.ugra-chess.ru/eng/index.... will get you nowhere for the moment. <And you cheer for the germans !?> I try to attend them all equally. Germany starts only with two up-and-coming teams :D |
|
Sep-17-10
 | | moronovich: <whiteshark> Thanks a lot - much appreciated !
Perhaps a few bucks on Aronian & Co - they are in the pleasant 18:1 right now :). Yeah, and most likely Gustafsson joked. |
|
| Sep-24-10 | | vonKrolock: Every one of the tragedies is quite impressive, but my favorite still <"The Tempest"> - a sublime, sometimes disturbing, poetical work, including a Chess game on the stage in some point ... |
|
| Oct-03-10 | | whiteshark: <most likely Gustafsson joked.> When jokes become true: <19> Denmark
...
<51> Norway
:D |

| Oct-23-10 | | The Rocket: The larsen reference is exellent! but isnt it actually very rarely paradoxes occur?, we usually build theorys from our own reason and logic?. We have to take for granted that the things are at a certain way and that its no interpretation, otherwise we couldnt form an opinion about anything because we wouldnt know were to even start!. If you say ok some stuff we accept but some elements we question, but what would make that objection anymore reasonable than the beliefs we actually accept?. Regards rocket |

Oct-23-10
 | | moronovich: <The Rocket> Thanks for stopping by and sharing your thoughts. And I think you are right. In the meaning of creating premises for understanding each other(and one self),language for instance. But simultaneuossly we (we as in general)tend to draw conclusions on loose grounds and stick to our meanings instead of trying an emperical investigation.Trying to explore instead of concluding.Trying to communicate with our fellow citizans, neighbours etc, instead of selling "him" just theories,convictions,beliefs..
Not that I am against this, but sometimes/often they lead to a point were exchanges of ideas are blocked. So when I hear e.g. a politician responding to a question with "I really dont know..." this guy may be my man ;)And of a rare breed ): Well- I have something to do for tonight, but feel free to respond, you are very wellcome.
And the above was just meant as brief taste and not as the last word. Regards . |
