Turning off the computer for a while now. Catch a few sunrays. We'll probably see eachother again over the weekend :) |
|
| Jul-21-12 | | achieve: Good morning, moro.
What a day, eh? Two dutch championships that have already been decided, two wild rabbits sitting in the parking lot beneath my window, and Chief Inspector Clouseau again out on a rampage... All true though, the rabbits are a plague, for several years now, but they move closer and closer to the homes and flats... And I wanted to ask you, when, what day, is the operation? |

 | | moronovich: Morning <achieve>
Was thinking about you in my garden with my homerulled cigaret and the birds, wind, sun in my face and here you are !... I am soon off - going to the Mal with wify to fill the fridge before tuesday which is the big day... More between heaven and earth than beween a mans ears..but I dont know how the rabits fill in in this picture :)but you are enjoying them in a way perhaps , but still they move to close instead of staying in the nature were they belong.Perhaps another ubalance due to the way we (mis)treat nature ? ): Read about Siting Bull and the all classic lakota way of living this morning in the Newspaper... Thoghts and memories went back to my visit at the hopitribe in 78.
A certain danish indian conneseur was a kind of mentor at that time. And he told me about e.g. meeting Buffy Saint Marie and Marlon Brando at the fireplace...Forbidden rituals.. You can find it in Neil Youngs`"Pocahontas",and for some reason I thought of you. And this is a good note to log out upon,nést pas :)
See you around and enjoy !
Hoka Hey. |

|
| Jul-25-12 | | achieve: <moro> Remember we had a little chat about how our "chessclub" experiences were kind of similar in that we both felt a bit out of place because of the "nerdy" atmosphere, somethink like that.... Now, today, having watched the latter part of the Biel games, I read back the kibitzing from Hao-Nakamura, and the last three pages had me so uncomfortable, that I thought I've had enough of this, "what a bunch of 'nerds'" - for lack of a better term. Call it immature, socially insensitive, I found it (the group) distasteful. The added speculations and endless lame jokes about Morozevich's unfortunate health problems and withdrawal from the tournament, lame jokes on Hao's name, I thought myself in "nerd-town" to put it nicely. Maybe it had to do with my state of mind at the time, but I immediately was reminded of our little conversation on this, and literally thought: "Let me get the heck outta here, brrrr, some fresh air, please" ... such a contrast to us at Branko's forum the other day. Anyway, just had to share this, will now watch a movie and then sleepy-time, is the ideal scenario, depending on Lars as well of course.:) And the heatwave here in Holland isn't helping, it's 9pm and inside my house the temp is 28 Celsius plus. |

Jul-26-12
 | | moronovich: <brankat: Welcome back!> Thanks.Just having breakfast after a night where I was lucky to catch some healing sleep. Not entirely new but in some weeks we are hopefully getting there :) See you soon. |
|
Jul-26-12
 | | moronovich: Good morning <achieve> and thanks for sharing. As well as I can follow your thoughts and feelings about the nerdy part.
Chess is sometimes a battlefield were the equation can be : the lesser insight and empathy, the bigger the mouth is.Unforunately this also goes for other areas in life...
The advantage can very well be that it can indicate were to find ones true
friends/fellowflyers.And an insight in humbleness as a beatifull energy in action and not only something the elderly said and proclaimed. So it sounds as a good and healthy reaction that you mentally slammed the door and turned your back to this flatdimensioned environment.
I could imagine that after this Lars looks more hugable than ever !? I think and presume you read my little
report to <brankat> which gives a little picture about my condition in these hours. After talking with you and
my light morningmeal I fell ready to face the joys and challenges for today! Take care and see you around.
P.s. I hold your olympic medal AT LEAST as high as the ones of the Bolts,
Nadals and the likes. |

 | | moronovich: One more thing <achieve> My wife bought my a cooler(dont know the exact
english word)2 years ago and it really made wonders last night were I needed a sleep more than ever. The thing is (like a miniature of the twintowers)about 1 meter 10 cm and the round bottomdiameter may be 18-20 cm.Can be put on different levels and is blowing cold air in the room. Not expensive either : 35-40 euro. |
|
| Jul-26-12 | | achieve: You are very kind, <moro>, and so good to hear you are gathering energy from all sources to regenerate from the surgery, which always takes out a large bite/chunk, in that department. You raise a few very interesting points, and I may go into them a bit later, as I too, much alike Brankat has just explained at his forum, am searching for a healthy way to fully exercise and enjoy my personal freedom, independence, sovereignty even, spiritually, and physically as well... Food for thought, also on how it all seems to converge, and especially, through and from our interaction here. With Branko of course, ever since the conversation on Nature, a few months ago, and the deeply felt emotions on that/"her". Wondrous how the universal consciousness knows her children by personal name, and arranges meetings, dates, and friendships. It inspires us, as you confirm... Have a great day! |
|
| Jul-26-12 | | achieve: Ah, we posted simultaneously...
<moronovich: One more thing <achieve> My wife bought my a cooler(dont know the exact english word)2 years ago and it really made wonders last night were I needed a sleep more than ever.> Thanks enormously for that tip! I tried some very large and noisy Airco a few years ago, but what you describe is well worth to have a look for and purchase... I'm on it. Thanks! |
|
| Jul-26-12 | | brankat: In order for all of us to get back to reality: in a day, or so, I'll post 2 of my recent masterpieces :-) here to celebrate the occasion: The Hip! |
|
| Jul-26-12 | | achieve: Different shoes for different feet.
True story, some 15 or so years ago my "Professor" - the orthopedic surgeon who did most of my operations - informed me that my left knee ought to be replaced by an artificial one. I responded in various ways: the No effing way!-type, and after all these years my left knee can hold his own to any other out there! hehe Some reality in perspective.
In other words: Get a Cooler... |
