"Play the board AND the man ! ".
But mostly the board.
Was born in Elsinore,Denmark,1953.And I am still proud of it.As I hope everyone is proud of hers/his startingpoint.

In many aspects life and chess do mirror each other IM experience. As science and belief goes hand in hand.So many "rules of thumbs" and many "exceptions" from the rule. I do agree with Bent Larsen who once said that someone who cannot contain a paradoxe is not using the full capacity of his brain.Actually I am convinced that there are no parodoxes, but perspectives which are more bright or flexible than others...

Though some obviously are borned under more easygoing circumstances than others,I will second our esteemed fellowkibitzer <zarg> who underlines that "luck" is also somehing that we create ourselves. Ourselves, but also together IM experience.
I try to live my life as if Jesus or Buddha knocked on the door , I would wellcome them as friends . And if they didn´t show up, it would be fine anyway.

moronovich: But basicly a fine day at the office for Sindarov One game closer to the finnish line and Caru not closing in on him. We shall all sit glued to our chairs when Caruana has the white pieces vs Sindarov in the second half.

Jun-22-13  brankat: Yes, <Anything-D-D> did seem to be the most likely outcome today. For my taste <W-D-D> and <D-D-D> the odds were too low, and I just can't make myself bet as large amounts as Switch does to make it worthwhile. Of the three above I only had $100 on <B-D-D>, and a few other tickets. A thousand dollar loss for the day.

I did think Switch was to make a big jump up in this round.

We are now almost at the wire:-) Good luck!

Jun-23-13  brankat: Well, we are almost there. I'm glad it's just about over :-)

Good Luck!

In your shoes I would consider:Play or stay !??..

Good luck to you too !

Jun-23-13  rogge: Riktig god sommer!

You should have mentioned this a few hours ago. The option of "staying" didn't even occur to me. Too late now.

Sorry.I thought you remebered from the time you missed the cut by lessest of margins ):But still everything is up for grabs ! If Carlsen wins I will move to first or second.Nervewracking this stuff...

Jun-23-13  brankat: It is often "easier" to play than to watch. Once a player settles down after a few moves..

moronovich: You are right. But it is also part of
many games, sometimes doing nothing (and do it well;).
Jun-23-13  brankat: Lucky <Switch> did it again :-)
