WannaBe: In case I forgot, congrats to them Lady Bruins. =)) U. Mich (69-63) won, but the last spread I saw was -6.5, so if you took UConn w/ spread, you got very lucky, if you bet on them U. Mich, I feel bad; the O/U was 148.5

WannaBe: <CIO> LOL. I remember those mems... <chancho> North by Norwest, totally agree, the audiences know that the plane scene was filmed earlier and played on a screen behind. It was still drama. Same thing with the Mt. Rushmore chase scene.

WannaBe: ¡Olé! ¡Olé! this is what I see for "¡Olé! ¡Olé!" (game of the day Mar-13-2026) I also know this issue have been around for a while, and it's not that important, in IT term, it is a level 'C', cosmetic fix. But I just wish to report it again. Can CG.com unify this ...

WannaBe: <FSR> March 11 is his birthday, and usually PoD is chosen from the birth date of the player. So unless CG.com decides to change the algorithm on how PoD is decided. We will randomly get "undesired" player(s).

Jan-15-13  Travis Bickle: I installed ...it's working like a Champ! ; P

1 last question. Do I have to install that patch or was it installed when I downloaded this program?

Thanks, Travis

Jan-15-13  chessmoron: It's already installed.

chancho: <WannaBe> how do you get rid of empty folders in the comp?
Jan-16-13
Premium Chessgames Member
WannaBe: <chancho> right click on that folder, select delete.

Right click on your trash/recycle bin, select Empty.

In theory, this will delete them, but any computer forensic expert will (still) be able to retrieve them.

  chancho: <WannaBe> I tried that.

It says it could not find the program, and yet it is still there.

Maybe it's malware?

WannaBe: <chancho> I am guessing you are logged in as an user who have administrative rights to that PC, are you running XP/Vista/Win7/Win8?

Does the folder have non-english characters? Sometimes this will cause problems.

If the folder was/is in use (e.g. opened) the system will not let you delete it. (Sometimes, your OS don't know you've already closed that folder...)

Reboot your PC, and try to delete it again.

WannaBe: 20 to 17, Chicago ahead, the home team missed a shot, three Lakers around the basket, and who gets the rebound and the easy put back bucket???

WannaBe: Pau forced up an ugly shot, when a teammate was feet away wide open, then tried to beat the shot clock by hoisting a 3, and that was blocked by Noah.

I still don't see this team doing double screen or a simple back-door cut to the basket... Heck, run a pick-n-roll!!

Next year...

WannaBe: With the (quarter's) clock running down, instead of putting up a shot, the Flakers passed the ball, as the buzzard sounds...

I really feel for Mike D'Antonio, you can only scream and yell at these multi-millionairs so much.

Can't (really) bench them, the Buss family are paying them a ton of money, and sitting on the pine drinking Gatorade is not going the Busses very happy.

But from what I can see on the court, I'd rather we trade everyone, get high Lottery picks, and go through 3 years of rebuilding.

Trade everyone, even the hotdog seller. Trade the hotdog seller to the Clippers. :-)
