WannaBe: In case I forgot, congrats to them Lady Bruins. =)) U. Mich (69-63) won, but the last spread I saw was -6.5, so if you took UConn w/ spread, you got very lucky, if you bet on them U. Mich, I feel bad; the O/U was 148.5

WannaBe: <CIO> LOL. I remember those mems... <chancho> North by Norwest, totally agree, the audiences know that the plane scene was filmed earlier and played on a screen behind. It was still drama. Same thing with the Mt. Rushmore chase scene.

WannaBe: ¡Olé! ¡Olé! this is what I see for "¡Olé! ¡Olé!" (game of the day Mar-13-2026) I also know this issue have been around for a while, and it's not that important, in IT term, it is a level 'C', cosmetic fix. But I just wish to report it again. Can CG.com unify this ...

WannaBe: <FSR> March 11 is his birthday, and usually PoD is chosen from the birth date of the player. So unless CG.com decides to change the algorithm on how PoD is decided. We will randomly get "undesired" player(s).

Jan-10-13  chessmoron: <At least it was close this time.> When will the Flakers get their winning instinct in previous quarters rather than a last minute rally in the 4th Q?

Check It Out: :D Sorry WannaBe, I thought td was your banker.

Are there other cool codes for symbols, like a dagger or a lion? Those could be useful when I'm losing an argument at Rogoff.

Check It Out: Weird. When I posted it I saw the bass clef. A half hour later I went to back to look at it here: still bass clef. But now it has changed to a box for me as well.

Check It Out: Don't look now, but the treble clefs are boxes now as well.

This is perplexing.

Check It Out: Wait a minute. My work computer is a PC, and it shows the blocks, same as you. But here at home, my computer is a mac and its showing the bass clef.

WannaBe: Tonight, Cleveland is at LA Flakers, tickets can be bought as low as $41.00 per seat. (Albeit, they are in the 300 section rafters.)

A few more loses, it will down to the (high) 30s range.

Jan-13-13  Jim Bartle: Oh now I get it. At first I thought you said you'd get paid $41.00 per game to play forward.
Jan-13-13  NakoSonorense: All you've said so far about how the Lakers keep on losing doesn't matter. You see, D'Antoni has said that the season starts tonight!

Jan-15-13  Travis Bickle: Wannabe I just deleted Java 6. something from my comp because I heard it wasnt safe and of course now I can't view the games on this site, (Says I need java plug in). The question I have for you is how can I download java 7 from the net without getting more malicious garbage connected with it. Is CNET a good site to download Java from? I'd like to re-download Java 6 or 7 and then use the patch you were talking about. Thanks Travis

  WannaBe: <Travis Bickle>

Go to: http://java.com/en/download/manual.... and then select "Windows online", (You are running Win-Doze, right??)

Then on the prompt, select 'Run', and it will automatically download the appropriate version and install from Oracle.

When prompted, select 'Install', and it will download the installer and program.

It is a bit over 30 Megs, depending on if you have 32 or 64 bit system. And then just proceed as prompted.

Also, (it may be too late now, but this issue, is only Java 7, if you had 6, and did not un-install, you had nothing to worry about...)

Jan-15-13  Travis Bickle: Yes I'm running Windows Vista. Thanks! ; P
