WannaBe: Will be at Reno Wednesday-Friday for football (kickoff) season. Lookin' at the lines, here's what I like:

<PIT> -8.5 @ CLE
JAX @ <HOU> -5.0
<OAK> @ TEN -1.5 (OAK was -1)

Will see what baseball run lines look like, too. Gonna do some crazy/stupid $5 parlays.

=)

How do you measure chi?

<Or, as the founder Doug Evans, put it in one interview last year:

"Not all juice is equal. How do you measure life force? How do you measure chi?">

Bankruptchi!

WannaBe: Some 'smart guy' bought 1.7M shares of Amazon based upon insider trading information and made 'more than $116,000 in profit.

Errr... If my math is right, he made a profit of 6.8 cents per share?? Let me think, if he made a profit of .50 per share, that would be 1.7M/2, 10 cents per share would be $170,000.

I wonder which university/college this genius went to, and which fraternity he was in.

https://finance.yahoo.com/news/trad...

Sep-09-17  technical draw: That's no insider trading. Less than $10,000,000 is just a clerical error.
Sep-10-17  diceman: <WannaBe: Some 'smart guy' bought 1.7M shares of Amazon based upon insider trading information and made 'more than $116,000 in profit.>

He actually made $106,000.
(had to pay $10,000 for the information)

WannaBe: Many, if not all of you know, I am no fan of Apple and their over-priced products.

Now during the launch of iPhone X, Apple wants to rebrand their store, and be called "Town Square". Twitter's having a great time trolling them.

Buncha iSheeps.

Sep-12-17  diceman: <WannaBe: Many, if not all of you know, I am no fan of Apple and their over-priced products.>

I understand they came out with a line of black turtleneck shirts called, "iJOBS."

However, they had to stop when sued by
plastic surgeons, lasik surgeons.

  WannaBe: iPhone8 starts at $699, iPhone8 Plus starts at $799, iPhone X starts $999

No idea what iPhone 9 would cost. Maybe Apple followed Microsoft's example and skipped 9. (Microsoft went from Windows 8/8.1 to 10)

Sep-13-17  technical draw: <No idea what iPhone 9 would cost.>

No idea what an iPhone is.

WannaBe: <technical draw> Gimme $1,000 and I'll show you one.

On a different note, Second Tuesday Update on my Win10 have screwed up Edge Browser.

Everytime I try to access a local network web page, it would try to go out to the internet. (Hence, page would not display).

Have to use good ol' IE11 (with Java for Chess Viewer Deluxe!!)

Sep-13-17  technical draw: < Gimme $1,000 and I'll show you one>

That's amazing <WannaBe>. When my son was young I would say to him: wash my car and I'll show you $20. He would run to get the hose and then stop and ask, "what did you say?" Then we would both laugh. Of course I gave him the $20 for washing the car.

That's how I picked up the $20 gags.

WannaBe: Super weird, Edge browser is now able to see my local intranet web pages...

Don't know what the heck is going on, as I have not done any other updates since last night.

Sep-13-17  technical draw: <Smart kid. You said "show you $20".>

After the first time the little brat would say, "I've already seen them."

But I got even. He pays for my membership here and I get all my 20's back.

My son is rich now but one thing he learned from me: Be generous. Giving is how you receive. And he is doing so.

Sounds like normal NSA tactics.
