WannaBe: Absolutely 'crazy' sequences... Usc throws an INT, the defensive lineman running with the ball then gets hit and fumbles the ball into and out of end zone for touchback (no TD) Next play, Usc goes from their own 20 to N'Western's 20 (60 yards).

  WannaBe: Cousin of Johnny Nash
Sep-02-20  technical draw: We shouldn't make fun of John Nash, after all he won a Nobel Prize. (Although they are now underrated since I won two).

If you think you're smart go to Wiki and read John Nash's paper which won him the Nobel Prize. If you thought high school algebra was hard take a gander at that paper!

Sep-02-20  technical draw: John Nash's basic work was on game theory, which I used as a basis for my pick three formula. However he used Paper, Rock, Scissors which has only 9 posible outcomes while my pick three formula has 1000 outcomes. Whose the smart one now?

(On a side note I think Nash wrote Dueling Banjos.)

There are 2 different kind of staffs, and American have been using the wrong one...

In the past some fool in America confused the Cadeceus (staff of messengers) with the Rod of Asclepius (staff of healing) and American medical institutions have been using the wrong one every since.

Go figure. Now you know...

Wait, should that be ROTFLUIC?

Sep-18-20  technical draw: Thank you <Wannabe>. Shana tova! This is an eerie Rosh Hashanah. We are living in a strange era indeed. Yom Kippur will be very important this year. But I cannot un-shake this feeling of dread. It's in the air and hard to pinpoint but definitely not good. Let's hope I'm wrong.

Glenmorangie... See if Quark can get me a bottle of this stuff.

Oct-20-20  technical draw: <WannaBe> My Yankees (dem bums) are not in the world series so I'm rooting for your LA Dodgers. Maybe the WS will take our minds off the coronavirus.

WannaBe: Cool <TD>. If Dodgers pulls it through, it will give me an excuse to open my newly bought Glenmorangie 14 years old. =))
Oct-20-20  technical draw: <WannaBe> I had to look it up:

WannaBe: <TD> Heard of Glendronach 12 Years Old? That's next on my list.

Also, my Mova Globe came in. Very cool thing!!

Oct-20-20  technical draw: I had to look up Glendronach 12. However if you're going to go, go big. Try the Glendronach 21 Parliament. For you special price: $229.99

WannaBe: 21? That's too old for me, I stay with 16 or 12 year olds. Sheesh...

Wait, I think cops are knocking on my door.

Oct-20-20  technical draw: The 12 year old is 59.99. That's not the price that's the time you would do.

WannaBe: <TD> 59.99!? That's not even an hour... Takes longer to process the booking and body search.

Oh wait, more knocking on my door. I think it's SWAT.

Oct-20-20  technical draw: <WannaBe> Can you tell how precisely you know the booking and body search time? Is Bugs the new orange?

WannaBe: Half way through Star Trek Discovery Season 3, Episode 2.

Gotta say, I love the one-liners and the tough directions from Suru and Georgiou.

Both have very valid points on their approach and offered their opinions.

chancho: I don't know if you were upset writing that post at Rogoff.

But chillax, bro.

New Zealand has distance and other intangibles Puerto does not, that is true.

But in Puerto Rico, (seeing that I happen to live here) people are moving about more than usual, holding parties, going to restaurants, and not social distancing enough, as they should.

They are not doing all the necessary things to beat the virus.

New Zealand is doing what is necessary to beat the virus, and they are taking it very seriously, which is why their death count is so much lower.

Sweden's total Covid deaths: 5,933 according to Worldometer.

Nice post by <pawn to QB4>
