WannaBe: These sponsorship have gotten silly, borderline ridiculous. Watching this TB@PIT game earlier, and the 4th inning was brought to us by Toyota Rav4. Ugh Maybe 7-Up can sponsor a Seventh Inning Stretch. Or Motel 6 can do something about the 6th inning.

WannaBe: Got the new iPhone? Be ready to spend extra $40 on charger. Plus you got to be wery wery wery quiet, like hunting wabbits while you charge it.

OK. You got to be very very very careful, because it may stain your phone case, leather couch, etc. And cleaning it take extra care too. Like a new born baby.

Me. I like my Android Phone just fine, 5G capable for years now (iPhone just got on board). My phone had USB-C charger ever since USB-C was introduced.

Guess Apple didn't want people spending 60 bux on replacement special proprietary lightening cable and their fancy looking white USB wall plug.

Keep it up iSheeps. keep it up.

Oct-27-20  technical draw: <Wannabe> Are you getting ready to celebrate? However, remember that the Yankees were up 3-0 and lost the world series.

WannaBe: <TD> Yeah, but LAD were never up three games to nil...

LAD have won all odd numbered games, TB won all the even numbered games.

To use cribbage terms, TB is two away, and LAD is one away sitting in the stink hole. Just hope TB doesn't peg out.

Oct-28-20  technical draw: Congratulations <Wannabe>! Your Dodgers are wieners! Well, hopefully next year will be a covidless year and we can see the Yankees win again.

WannaBe: And Officially, we have an alien Star Fleet Captain on the Star Trek Show. A Kelpian, no less. A race bred for food and fears.

And we will "Boldly go where no one have gone before"

(Well, that is the more PC version from Next Generation, the original is "where no men have gone before").

WannaBe: Poured meself a bit of the 14 years old Glenmorangie to celebrate, and it reminded me why some people put it on the rocks, or cut it with soda or water.

(I always take mine neat)

Funny how much smoother it is after your first sip. I think the last time I had good scotch was when LA Kings won the Championship. The first one, not the second time.

Congrats to LAD, after the memorable '88, I get to celebrate another World Series Championship.

I sure hope it will not be another 30+ years before I get the 'excuse' to reopen the Glenmorangie again.

Because I very well be 6 ft under and pushing up carrots.

WannaBe: Interesting watching CNN & Yahoo's coverage, Yahoo called KY and WV for Trump, VA for Biden

Over on CNN, they only called IN for trump, everything else is up in the air...

Always made me wonder how the discrepancies work.

WannaBe: CNN's Wolf Blitzer just said AR is too close to call. I flip over to Yahoo and they already call it for Trump.

Ugh...

CNN have Biden ahead 73-48 in E.C. votes.

Diademas: No Republican president elect. But both JFK and FDR (1944) did it.

WannaBe: Fascinating, or interesting, how CNN is explaining that the early release of numbers, based on mail in votes are in favour of Biden.

Because of COVID and early voting, in many states Biden jumped out to a (big) lead. FL was one of the example. TX was another.

The colours of each county is also interesting, big cities/counties go Blue, while the Red goes to more less populated open spaced counties.

Nov-03-20  optimal play: I can't follow American elections.

Way too confusing.

Electoral college votes and whatnot?!

<WannaBe> seems to be on the ball.

I'm just gonna follow <WannaBe>'s comments and wait for him to tell us who won.
