Jun-19-05  RookFile: I think maybe Bobby should have won
this one, but it's not easy, of course.
May-07-11  qqdos: Source <Bartonlaos> - This was a game Fischer had initially lost by forfeit, following 2 of his complaints that were rejected. He refused to play so the point was awarded to Knezevic, who (sportingly) declined to accept such an unearned result. Accordingly the game was re-scheduled for the next rest day and the result was the above draw. It is said that Fischer, on reflection, was content with half-a point - explaining perhaps why he didn't press for the win with his customary determination!

perfidious: <qqdos> Most interesting-I'd always taken this to be a simple drawn game where Fischer had some chance of winning, without an inkling of any story behind it all.
Jun-15-17  nnnnnnnn: What the hell are you talking about?!! The only side that had a chance of winning since move 23 here, was Black! Knezevic had a past pawn, plus a weakness to attack – the white pawn on e5. He actually had good winning chances, but Fischer defended well. Knezevic was an incredibly strategic player. Here he took all teeth out of the position very early in the game, and then manouvred around his slight advantage not risking anything. Great game by Knezevic!
