  Sneaky: 16 ...Kd8 17. Bg5+! Qxg5 18. Nf7+
Mar-23-03  Rookpawn: <16 ...Kd8 17. Bg5+! Qxg5 18. Nf7+> Sneaky, 17. Bg5 is not a check.
Mar-24-03  Cyphelium: No, it's not. But it doesn't matter, Sneaky's variation wins anyway.
Mar-25-03  ughaibu: Is this the original Geller gambit?
Jul-01-03  KrokoKorchnoi: yes, this gambit in Slav defence is originally invented by E. Geller and A. Tolush, and was used with great success by Geller. The strongest player Geller defeated using this gambit was if i am not mistaken, Wolfgang Unzicker. Feel free to correct me though. :)
Mar-28-04  ughaibu: Lawrence: Do you collect these?
Mar-28-04  Lawrence: <ugi>, don't think so. Since ploughing through Capa and now Karpov my game collections have gone to pot.
Mar-28-04  Lawrence: Except for "Anatoly Karpov's Best Games."
Jun-25-09  WhiteRook48: nice combination
