Jul-23-05   offramp: <acirce> I like the sequence 24.Qc2 Qa1+ 25.Qb1 Qc3+ 26.Bc2... Is there a term in the problem world for such a manouevre? An anti-Turton or something?

acirce: Actually, I have forgotten pretty much everything about that particular terminology. Turton, Loyd, Zepler, I don't remember what's what. Maybe <vonKrolock> can help?

vonKrolock: The manoeuvre in this Game simulate, indeed, the complex of Clearance Themes of the Turton-Loyd-Bristol type – i’ll say a Bristol; in three phases (because the Queen stops in the ‘c2’ point before reaching her arrival square); and defensive (self-understandable)
