Jul-29-05  OJC: What an awesome finish. With two promotions in a row and an underpromotion to finish it off, this game deserves to be in some underpromotion game collections.

Does anybody know anything about C. Munoz?

Jul-29-05  Caissanist: <Chancho> mentioned on the Fischer page that he was an Ecuaduaron who beat Fischer in 1960.
Sep-01-05  EmperorAtahualpa: <Caissanist> Ecuaduaron?? LOL
Sep-01-05  Resignation Trap: This Ecuadorian defeated Fischer, and how! Fischer vs C Munoz, 1960 .
Sep-01-05  aw1988: One for iron maiden's Power to the Pawns and Sneaky's Underpromotions.
Oct-16-10  Eduardo Bermudez: I like the last move, Kf1 !!
Oct-30-11  DrMAL: Munoz played well throughout game, even getting small edge from unusually inaccurate play by Larsen. Position was probably drawn until Larsen played 31.Nd7?? losing then 32.Ng3?? losing faster I wonder if bribery was involved.

offramp: Here's a good title for this game:
F1N!
May-16-17  hudapri: <offramp> Nice
Jul-30-20  jerseybob: I don't like 11.c5!? The c-pawn is easily blockaded, and after 11..d5 black's 5-4 kingside majority sets the tone for the rest of the game.
