My pick for the follow-up to today's puzzle solution 23. Rg5! Kh8 was the weakest of these winning alternatives with 24. Qc3 +-. Strongest of course is the game move 24. Qb4! exploiting the weak dark squares, paralyzing Black's undeveloped pieces, and giving White a tactical field day with open lines of attack against the exposed Black King position. P.S.: For an early Black improvement, instead of 10...f6 11. exf6 ⩲ (+0.37 @ 29 depth, Stockfish 8,) I prefer the computer choice 10...Qb6 = (+0.00 @ 33 depth, Stockfish 8) as in Black's win in G Guseinov vs F Vallejo Pons, 2014. |

P.S.: Didn't realize Alabama fans could be so "enthusiastic" in support of their team. The coaches and team members on both teams are being extremely polite to one another, but for some of the more vocal fans it's an entirely different situation. Alabama fans certainly have no great affection for ACC teams, especially since Clemson defeated them for the National Championship earlier this year and FSU defeated Alabama the last time these teams played in 2007. |

Our sincere apologies, but everything is returned to normal. In a few weeks (maybe days) we'll be offering the new choice which is called the "Olga Chess Viewer" — we hope that people find it more powerful, faster, and easier to use than the old Chess Viewer Deluxe, and far more functional than the current default "pgn4web." All previous options that we have had will remain (except for the typographical error that caused today's commotion), so if you don't like the new upcoming product we will not force you to change. |

Somehow the viewer window has been hidden by the right hand border that is alligned with the header window beneath the board. |
