  FSR: Punished for His Sins.
May-10-24  Honey Blend: The mortal sin I see here is 11. ♕g4, exposing the Queen where the simple 11. 0-0 would have saved his game, e.g. 11. ... ♕g6 12. ♘f3 and continue developing, say putting rooks to b and/or e-files and so on.

The first sin is 5. Bc4?! (5. Bd3 is just fine), putting the bishop out there to be kicked around and wind up out of play.

The second is 8. e5? The trade doesn't work out well; White gets doubled pawns while Black activates the queen.

The third is 11. Qg4. Bringing the queen out in front of the enemy pawns while relying on her to stop a mate is never a good idea. Just 11. O-O as already pointed out.

The fourth is 16. Bg5? 16. Bf4! is imperative, blocking the black queen from the g4 pawn. After that comes 16... Bh6 17. Bxh6 h4 18. f3 hxg3 19. fxe4 gxh2+ 20. Kxh2 Rxh6+ 21. Kg3 (-0.5).

The fifth is 19. d5?? Although White's losing regardless, 19. hxg3 at least temporarily stops the bleeding. Black is still up a whole knight, and will bring the undeveloped pieces in for the kill.

The sixth, I suppose is 20. Kh1??, but White probably just wants out of his misery.

May-10-24  Allderdice83: Interestingly, after 7 ... b4, Stockfish recommends 8. Nd5!?, getting a strong attack after 8 ... exd5 9. e5 Ng8 10. Bxd5 Ra7 11. Qh5 g6 12. Qf3 d6 13. Be3 (+0.3). Look at Black's pieces -- they're all on their original squares except the rook on a7!
