fm avari viraf: White's tactical shot 15.Nh6 brings the curtains down as neither 15...gxh6 nor 15...Kh8 would stop the Black King's funeral. After 15...gxh6 then 16.Qxf6 wins or 15...Kh8 then 16.Qxf6! gxf6 17.Bxf6#

An Englishman: Good Evening: Westerinen seems to like to fianchetto his Bc1 in 1.e4 openings; doesn't he have a variation of the Sicilian with b3 named after him? As for this game, not much to write--just another crash and burn in the 3...dxe4 French.
Nov-22-19  Pyrandus: Westerinen is the KingsGambit's Champion.
Nov-22-19  sfm: I met Westerinen several times (not over the board, though), as he was a frequent visitor to Denmark. Slim guy, small grey moustache, friendly nature. Soft-spoken in person, at the board a ferocious tiger behind his disguise, one of those guys radiating energy and love of the game.

His famous game against Sigurjonsson was known by everybody, and established him as the brilliant tactician and trouble-seeker he was. H Westerinen vs G Sigurjonsson, 1977

TheAlchemist: From Hayao Miyazaki's movie Kiki's Delivery Service, I think.

Check It Out: If you are not familiar with Miyazaki's animated movies, they are amazing, well worth exploring.
