Kibitzer's Corner
Sep-04-12  fetonzio: i love watching topalov play. fcking maestro
Sep-04-12  micartouse: Wow, bravo Topalov!
Sep-04-12  polonius: Magnificent !!! Tough gritty and ornery play by the Bulgarian
Sep-05-12  ashalpha: I haven't liked Topalov as a person since Toiletgate, but I have to admit he always has been a very good attacking player. 32. Rxb6! is good, his trademark exchange sacrifice, but the foresight needed to have that great bishop is even better. Look at the position after 21.Rag1, his bishop is excellent. Now compare that Bishop to their Black contemporaries...
Sep-05-12  Shams: Fearless King play from Topalov.
Sep-09-12  pkkandel: yet another exchange sacrifice from topalov, brilliant!!!
Sep-09-12  pericles of athens: fantastic game! fun stuff here from both sides. very nice.
Sep-11-12  nariga: Did Black miss out on the following play?

39. Re3 40.Qxe5 Rxe5 41. Kd4 Rxe6 42. dxe6 Bxe6

This can be a draw??

Sep-11-12  nariga: or even 39. Qg7 40. Qxg7+ 41. Kxg7, gaining a tempo to get his King to the central pawns.
Sep-14-12  checkmateyourmove: some of topas variations in his wins, seem like he has learned chess with a knife to his neck. How can you not love chess after seeing a game like this !
