tamar: Double pincer action from Kramnik's bishops
Sep-29-17  BOSTER: Wrong order.
Sep-29-17  beenthere240: Vlad seems to have a comfortable game!
Sep-29-17  BOSTER: b4 was the mistak
Sep-29-17  BOSTER: If now d3, white wins the pawn.
Sep-29-17  posoo: I THINK dat horokoa loks GOOD dis game she has da posors on da legt!

GO GO GO BRING DOWN DA TOILET CHEAT!

Sep-29-17  Marmot PFL: White was pawn up, now down exchange and pawn but the knight is trapped in the corner and white has connected pawns. Still looks like bringing up the king and advancing the center pawns is good for black.

Sneaky: First time Kramnik played the Benko? That's great. It's like seeing an well accomplished guitarist pick up a banjo or mandolin and demonstrate their proficiency with that instrument as well.
Sep-29-17  Gypsy: <beenthere240: Vlad seems to have a comfortable game!> That what I also though, at the first glance. But after staring at it a bit longer, I am not all that sure
Sep-29-17  Gypsy: Well, and now Vlad seems to be simply winning.
Sep-29-17  posoo: Gupsumblo,

NOT vlad is NOT NOT winning if u re NOT right about da position!

chessgames.com: Well done Vlad, hope to see you all back tomorrow for round 8.
Sep-29-17  beenthere240: Being a pawn up as White in the Benko is what Black was trying to achieve in the first place.

Or not, for Harika. (laughs)

Nov-15-17  patzer2: According to our Opening Explorer, instead of 11. e4 White has had more success with 11. Ne1 = to ⩲ as in White's win in Bologan vs Ponomariov, 2012.
