GrahamClayton: The biographer of Leo Fleischmann Forgacs
Jan-29-12  whiteshark: Arpad Földeak also wrote a fine book on rook endgames <Turmendspiele in Schachpartien, Theorie und Praxis mit 252 Diagrammen, <Falken-Verlag, Wiesbaden 1976>>
Jan-29-12  thomastonk: Yes, the book on rook endings is very fine and it appeared also under the title <Ein Vierteljahrhundert Turmendspiele, Theorie und Praxis> with a different cover.

Moreover, Földeak did a fine book on chess olympiads (englisch and german versions at least).

And then there is his book on games that won brillancy prices: <Hundert preisgekrönte Schachpartien>, which is a good one, too, but the games are a little out of date, of course.

And not to forget a small book on Geza Maroczy entitled <Geza Maroczy: Leben und Lehren>, which I don't know.
