Jan-05-12  cro777: Dr Zvonko KREÈAK, born October 10, 1942 in Trsteno near Dubrovnik, Croatia is correspondence chess Senior International Master with the current ICCF rating 2314 (his highest rating was 2458 in 2002). He is president of Correspondence Chess Association of Croatia (CCAC) and editor of national CC magazine "Glasnik / Herald".

He began playing correspondence chess in 1959. In 2002 he became an ICCF International Master and in 2003 Senior International Master.

Krecak has doctorate in physics. He works as senior scientific researcher at Laboratory for Electromagnetic and Weak Interactions in Experimental Physics Department of «Ruðer Boškoviæ» Institute (Zagreb, Croatia). His searches for hadronic axions from solar core are adopted by worldwide famous Particle Data Group in its reports. After he has performed two solar hadronic axion experiments in Zagreb, at present, he is performing a third one.
