Kibitzer's Corner
Sep-24-09  whiteshark: Arthur Mandler (1891-1971) was one of the giants of 20th-century chess endgame study composition; he had a mastery of the natural endgame study which has perhaps been equaled only by his friend, Richard Reti and the famous Russian composer Nikolay Dmitrievich Grigoriev. His book <Depth and Beauty> contains many brilliant studies.
