Kibitzer's Corner
Feb-25-06   redlance: Anybody know anything about Bernd Feustel?
German Master who played like Duncan Suttles and IM L DAY.
Feb-26-06   redlance: He also put out Rand Springer.
Feb-26-06   sneaky pete: Did he, does he? The main culprit of the editions of <Randspringer> in my library is Rainer Schlenker der Henker.

Feustel (b. Bamberg, September 20, 1954) is the author of "Eröffnungen - abseits aller Theorie" (Joachim Beyer, 1982) which deals with unorthodox flank openings for white and (KB) fianchetto defences for black (Robatsch; modern defence). Bernd is a very serious man. "I regard the conception <hippopotamus> as a joke name and therefore will not use it".

Feb-26-06   redlance: Sorry,you are right.
I guess Bernd Feustel hasnt put out anything new.
I have that book.
