Oct-15-11  Rook e2: Sipke Ernst lost to a player 400 points below him.. After such a strong Olso open! Compliments to my friend Osama Sadallah for drawing a GM and the young Jorden van Foreest for doing the same!
Oct-15-11  maxfrank: Could Donchenko have drawn against Tiviakov with 40...Be7...d8, preventing the W K from penetrating? The N covered a6 and c6, and that seemed like a good thing. I didn't see a good way for W to break the fortress. Doesn't look like a B sac would work.
Oct-17-11  dx9293: Alex Lenderman won again, over GM Baklan (2617), and leads the tournament with 4/4. Tiviakov, Zherebukh, Nyzhnik etc. have 3.5/4.
Oct-17-11  parmetd: Go Lenderman go!!
Oct-18-11  messachess: Wow. Can Alex Lenderman win this thing? But he'll have to play Tiviakov. We'll see.

Chnebelgrind: <But he'll have to play Tiviakov> He first has to play Zherebukh. Remember Y Zherebukh vs Mamedyarov, 2011
Oct-18-11  dx9293: Alex makes a solid draw with Zherebukh (one of Grabinsky's stars). Tiviakov is beating van Kampen, and Nyzhnik has a huge advantage over Haslinger, though a win is not a complete given.

If Tiviakov and Nyznik win, we have:

Tiviakov 2647 4.5 (bwbwb)
Lenderman 2562 4.5 (bwbwb)
Nyzhnik 2561 4.5 (wbwbw)

The best pairing would seem to be Tiviakov-Nyzhnik, and Lenderman against the highest 4 (Sipke Ernst). However, not only does Ernst have the same colors as Lenderman (and Tiviakov), but Lenderman already got downfloated last round. A player shouldn't get an identical float in consecutive rounds, IIRC.

So I think the pairings would be:

Tiviakov (4.5) - Lenderman (4.5)
Ernst (4) - Nyzhnik (4.5)

Oct-18-11  dx9293: Now Nyzhnik is completely winning, but Tiviakov is in a messy position, with both sides having about 9 minutes left (+30 sec increment) to finish the game.
Oct-18-11  dx9293: Tiviakov could only draw, so in round 6 it will be Lenderman(4.5)-Nyzhnik(4.5).
Oct-19-11  Rook e2: Not a complete list of games unfortunately. I read on the site that the game Van der Wiel - Schoorl is a special one. Where in the middle of the game it seems that pieces are randomly dropped on the board.
Oct-19-11  Hovik2009: no Armos, the hell with this tournament!
Oct-19-11  Hovik2009: sorry for the arrogance, I was born and brought up like that, can't do much about it
Oct-19-11  dx9293: Round 7:

Nyzhnyk(5)-Tiviakov(5)
van Kampen(4.5)-Lenderman(5)

4.5s on the next five boards.
