<Happes: But seriously, to get THIS pos after 20 moves in a French with Black against a 2650 is quite remarkable...>

Dec-12-13  waustad: I'm sorry to see Sutovsky getting crushed, but he is pretty clearly in the just below super GM class, even though he plays a lot of delightful attacks. At least his games are usually fun to watch, since his muse is more like Tal or Nezhmetdinov.
Dec-13-13  Octavia: fourth! its great to see the games life.
Dec-13-13  csmath: Sutovsky lost 5th game in a row. Howell dropped a rook and a game with Caruana in a really bad display.
Dec-13-13  csmath: Now Short is also losing to Caruana.

Caruana vs Short 1-0

Dec-13-13  MarkFinan: What format is this competition? Is it like the football world cup where the top two go through and play in a knockout until two men are left sitting? Good to see an Englishman doing okay too, even if there are "weak" players in this group.

Or weak players in comparison to the WCC we just watched, but at least there are more blunders, and therefore more to enjoy imo. ✌
