Feb-17-04  Gurch: Probably because there's not enough action, compared to something like football. Mind you, they have snooker on there, there isn't much action in that.
May-24-06  SJP: <why snooker?> The proletariat watch it. They wouldn't watch chess and consequently the BBC would lose a lot of money and ratings.
