Kibitzer's Corner
Jul-03-05  roni.chessman: Eck...Pono lost to a 2400 player...Still, congrats Pono.
Jul-03-05  bumpmobile: What were the time controls? 4 days seems like a small amount of time for 9 games...
Jul-04-05  OneArmedScissor: I heard 60 minutes, but I could be wrong.
Jul-04-05  cade: Pono must be kicking himself about his loss to Podgaets. He could have got a stunning score here.
Jul-04-05  VishyFan: is this rapid or normal time control?
Jul-04-05  acirce: Rapid, 20 minutes/game.
Jul-04-05  PinkPanther: Well, I think Ponomariov can let that game slide SINCE HE @#$%ING SMOKED EVERYBODY ELSE IN THE DAMN TOURNAMENT. That's so typical, he goes +6 in a tournament and you focus on his one loss.
Jul-04-05  dragon40: Good tournament by Pono, enough said! No one is perfect by any means, and we all lose...its just human nature to look for, point out, and be overly verbal to the flaws! Nothing personal, just sad and true.
Jul-04-05  12929011: About 70% of the games were decisive!
Jul-04-05  THE pawn: <dragon40> Well said! Glory to Pono! yahhhh! woohooo! ( wow...too many drinks...)
Jul-04-05  THE pawn: What price did he win?
Jul-05-05  halcyonteam: Prize, not price
Jul-05-05  Knight13: Ruslan Ponomariov beat a lot of people in this tournament. He sure is very strong!
