Dec-05-19 | | Sokrates: Big and interesting portrait of Koneru Humpy in the latest (# 7) issue of New in Chess. She was completely away from chess for two years, but now she is back with the third best rating of the women. It would have been great, if Hou Yifan and Ju Wenjun also were present here, but otherwise a strong range of players. |
Dec-09-19 | | botvinnik64: Today (12/9) is Nakamura's 32nd birthday - why is he not The Player of The Day?? |
Dec-09-19 | | paavoh: What's up with Gunina? She is not a compromising player but five losses out of six games is uncharacteristic of her. |
Dec-10-19
 | | HeMateMe: no Natalie Pogonina? has she retired from chess? players seem to drop a notch after they have kids, new priorities and all. If Magnus Carslen gets pregnant, well, the pretenders will gather 'round the chess throne with bad thoughts... |
Dec-12-19 | | norami: If tomorrow the Muzychuk sisters, Lagno and Cramling win, then next day M. Muzychuk, Humpy and Kosteniuk win, with the other games drawn, it’ll finish with an eight-way tie for first. |
Dec-12-19 | | ndg2: If Goryachkina wins one more time she will take over Ju Wenjun |
Dec-12-19
 | | Penguincw: Rough tournament for Gunina, losing 6 games in a row, including back-to-back to the lowest titled and lowest rated players. |
Dec-14-19 | | paavoh: Goryachkina came ever so close to qualify into the Candidates. Tough loss in last round. |
Dec-16-19
 | | An Englishman: Good Evening: Impressive showing by the former World Champion Kosteniuk. She must regret that loss to Gunina. |
Dec-19-19 | | PhilFeeley: <HeMateMe: no Natalie Pogonina?> She's playing in Spain: https://chess-results.com/tnr478652... |
