  tamar: England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland, but judging from the names of the participants, other nearby nations are allowed to play also.

  Troller: It is the league of UK, similar to the Bundesliga. I think such leagues are in every European country; best teams qualify also for the European Club final, sort of a Champions League for chess clubs.
