This was the 6th and last World Cup tournament organized by the breakaway Grandmasters Association (GMA). Final standings: 1) Kasparov 83 World Cup points, 2) Karpov 81, 3) Salov 68½, 4) Ehlvest 68, 5) Ljubojevic 66½, 6) Nunn 65½, 7-8) Beliavsky and Short 63½, 9-10) Timman and Hübner 57½, etc.
