World Junior Championship (2019)

The 58th World Junior Championship was an 11-round Swiss held in the Leela Ambience Convention Hotel in New Dehli, India from 15-25 October 2019 (with a double round on 17 October). Rest day: 20 October. Time control: 90 minutes for the first 40 moves, then 30 more minutes to the end of the game, with 30 seconds added per move from move 1. No draw offers allowed until move 30 without the consent of the arbiter. Prize fund: 6,000 Euros, with 3,000 Euros to the winner. Tournament director: Ajeet Kumar Verma. Chief arbiter: Abd Hamid Bin Abd Majid.

Evgeny Shtembuliak won with 9/11, ahead of Sargsyan (8.5/11) and Hakobyan (8/11).
